  1. 2019 Silverado LT Max Towing with camping trailer. I live in Winston Salem. I make the drive to VA and points North via I-81 a few times a year. We take US-52 to I-74 to I-77 to I-81. US-52 near Pilot Mountain will not be an issue. There are some small hills, but nothing too bad. There is a stretch (I believe on I-74) that gets pretty steep. It can be very hard to see the cars in front of you when the fog rolls in (they have electronic/illuminated speed limit signs that are updated based on road conditions). The road can be very slick when wet in that stretch as well. I rarely drive through there without seeing a car or two rolled over on the side of the road. We always leave plenty of room between us and the vehicle in front. A note, people are always in a hurry. They will pass us aggressively and cut in right on top of us...no matter how much room is in front of us. That is okay, we expect it now. We can usually maintain the posted speed limit, but there have been a few times we made a conscious decision to go a bit slower because of wet/foggy conditions. This area is worse heading down the mountain toward Winston Salem. It isn't too bad when going up the mountain. The Fancy Gap area isn't too bad. The biggest issue there is getting stuck behind a wall of 18 wheelers. It can be a bear to get back up to speed when/if you can get around them at a few spots.
  2. I just finished hauling compost for my garden. I did it 3/4 yard at a time, four runs over the weekend. I used the tail bed of the truck as I do not have a trailer. I did, however, invest in a load handler for the tail bed. It is a manual conveyor belt. I backed the truck to my garden and cranked the load handler. Tail bed was empty in less than two minutes. I put a tarp under the conveyor belt so it would catch the extra compost. When I was done I simply pulled the tarp out and dumped the remnants into the garden. No need to hose out the truck, saved my back because I didn't have to shovel the compost, and gave more time for the yard work. I highly recommend a load handler if you will be hauling dirt, rock, etc. in the tail bed.
  3. I love my clazzio seat covers. I went all black perforated leather. It took about a week to get them. Install was very easy...took about two hours. I only had two "problems". First, the small section of back seat gave me some trouble and I slammed the seat down on my hand. Second, I have the jump seat instead of the center console. I had to modify the install on lower section of this part (not the lid) a little bit to get it to stay in place when the lid was opened. My wife scoffed when I told her I made the purchase. She definitely changed her mind after riding in the truck with them installed. It is dark here now. I will try to get out in the morning to post some pictures
  4. I am in NC. Took my 2019 silverado in for rear window leak on Tuesday of last week. They resealed and called to tell me they needed to replace spoiler bolts. They ordered them and had them sent overnight delivery. Installed Wed and I was able to pick truck up Wed night. I am hoping this solves the problem.
  5. I use the SanDisk Ultra Fit 128gb USB 3.1 drive. I bought it from Best Buy... https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sandisk-ultra-fit-128gb-usb-3-1-flash-drive-black/6182929.p?skuId=6182929 I copied all of my music to the drive. It is very low profile so I just leave it plugged into the truck and you hardly notice it is there. I always switch the radio back to FM before I turn off the truck. I then switch to USB after the truck has started. I try to minimize chance a surge may be sent to the USB that will kill the drive. I am always overly cautious. I know several people that leave the radio on USB all the time with no issues. I used a program called guiformat to format my drive as a FAT32 (I believe the default format of the drive was exFAT - not recognizable by infotainment system). It is a free download. Nothing to install, it is simply an executable file. I got it here... http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm Note: I put the executable on my desktop to run. If I saved it in My Documents the file explorer was also "looking at" the USB drive so it would not format the drive. Format was easy and successful once I moved the executable to the desktop. I ripped my entire music collection to FLAC using MediaMonkey. I purchased a license, but I believe the free version will also work. Hope this helps.
  6. I have a 2019 LT as well. I use a 128gb Sandisk USB drive with FLAC files and I have no issues listening to my music.
  7. Were you able to find the module? I, too, am trying to find it in my new truck. Thank you.
