  1. I have been using the plug in module from Range Technologies on a 2019 5.3. It turns off DFM and the auto stop. I have had zero issues. If you do not want to turn off the DFM they do make one just for the autostop.
  2. The Touring has no drone at all. It is perfect for me since I didn't want real loud just an aggressive sound. When towing a 5000 lb load it does get a little loud going up grades. The only reason I stayed away from the S-type was there is no difference between the sound between it and the Atak on a ZL1. It was way to loud for a daily. It literally wakes up the neighbors when he starts it.
  3. I ended up going with the Borla touring and am totally happy with it. It is quiet in the cab and no drone but opens up nicely when given some throttle. It has a nice deep growl to it without being over whelming in a daily. I also went with the one that came with the quad tips and it looks awesome. Thanks everyone for the input.
  4. I have been looking at purchasing a system and was wondering if anyone knew who was the cheapest or most reputable company to order from? So far I have found the one I want at both American Truck and Real Truck and both were the same price point at 1499.00.
  5. 2019 factory DFM disabled with 19,000 miles. No issues so far.
  6. I too get between 16-17 mpg with the Range device in place
  7. I have been going back and forth on these. I currently have my screens covered up and the flapper open. I like the way the truck sounds on its initial cold start but it quickly gets too quiet. I like the deep growly exhaust but do not want it too loud. I have to also keep the wifey happy. She likes the quiet in the cab and zero drone. I am hoping to hear from those of you that have either one of these that could give me your opinions on some real world input. I have read tons and haven't had much luck in the way of sound clips. The truck is a 19 5.3 with the DFM disabled. Thanks in advance
  8. Does anyone know or have the part number for the quad tip cat back for a 2019 5.3? Everything I find in just single tipped.
  9. 2019 Sierra 5.3 with the 8 speed trans. At approx 14,000 miles it started slamming into 2nd from 1st and upon stopping at a red ight it would lurch when going from 2nd to 1st. Took it to the dealer with concerns. Bad valve body was the culprit so they changed valve body along with the shift solenoid and transmission fluid and filter change. Only been two days since I got it back it it seams to be shifting the way that it should be.
  10. Not sure if this would be a helpful question rather than just a curiosity question. I would like to see how many of these pollsters have went 1,2,3,4 times for the window leak. I am on my 3rd back glass and have had the truck a year.
  11. 2019 GMC Sierra and am on my third window. In the beginning they did the spoiler TSB and resealed the window. Still leaked so they tore it apart again and found the window frame had cracked above the driver side rear seat. They replaced the back glass and this fixed the issue. It has happened twice since then with the frame cracking in the same spot. The last time it was in the shop the window hack they used scratched up a little over $500 worth of plastics in the back seat that they had to replace.
  12. I have had the AVS on my Honda Ridgeline for the last 14 years. They look just like they did the day I put them on it. no fading no cracking. With that said I will purchasing this brand in the next couple weeks for my Sierra.
  13. Just got my 2019 sierra back from getting the TSB for the spoiler bolts done and low and behold it still leaks. I guess they didn't even check it before telling me it was fixed. It will be going back Monday morning. Looks like this is going to be a long aggravating road. I knew I should have just bought another Honda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Like "No Coast Rider" said I am lucky to get 17 and that is taking it easy. I do live in east TN. Guess since there have been so many positive comments on this new range device I'll bite and give one a try.
  15. I have never seen the kind of mileage everyone talks about. My best was 19 but it is usually 16-18 so now I am debating getting one of these now. I can't handle that kind of mileage loss
  16. I've been looking as well and haven't found anything i like well enough or that doesn't take away from the front ends of these trucks
  17. I have the Under Cover Armor Flex and love it. Does not interfere with the tail got function at all. You can push button open and close with the top completely closed. I have only had a few drops of water enter the bed once and it was after driving in the pouring rain for two hours. It was right in the corners of the back of the bed where the top of the gate and bed cover meet
  18. What superduper said. You can not do it from the app. You have to go into the actual website and change your password to make it work.
  19. 2019 Sierra 5.3. I have clamped the flapper open and taped/covered the screens up. I am super happy with the sound and have been asked what exhaust I was running. They are surprised when I tell them it is factory exhaust lol. The only thing I do not like is that you can see the tape through the fender well when standing beside the truck.
  20. 2019 sierra 1500 SLT. Thought I got lucky but noticed it leaking down both sides of the rear window. Dealer said that the four bolts holding the rear spoiler were the wrong bolts from the assembly line and not pulling it tight enough to seal. They have the bolts ordered for the repair so we will see. After seeing what they are going to have to go through to replace them I am dreading it. I HATE IT when they have to work on anything.
  21. It may be the truck. I just got an armor flex and it is the same way. Mine you can only really tell from the back but it is noticeable. Other than that I really like it so far.
  22. I have had it in for the brake recall and brought this up. They told me everything was fine and the delay was normal. I have read so much about these two different systems my head hurts. It does seam the largest issues was with not alternating dead cylinders vs it always being the same ones.
  23. I notice it every time I drive the truck and hate it. I can hear and feel when the thing drops cylinders. While having dropped cylinders waiting the 3-5 seconds it takes to figure out what to do when I want to mash the peddle to take off or pass a car is just ridiculous. I will be having this option looped out of the program if Range does not come up with something soon. Like the auto stop/start function. It is a gimmick. I ran two tanks with and two tanks without making the same exact trips and there was zero difference in fuel consumption. I have heard the same goes for the fuel management system from almost everyone who had the AFM system. I am new to all this so there may be something I'm missing.
  24. Hello everyone. After poking around on here for a while Range seams to be the only manufacturer in this market. Did I by chance over look someone? I messaged them and after several days someone finally got back with me stating it would be at least a few months before something could be ready.
