To everyone that answered I appreciate the responses. A couple weeks ago I finally couldn’t take the noise anymore and couldn’t find the issues so I took my truck to the garage. $1500 later and I have new wheel bearings and a rebuilt differential and no more noise. Chunk of change I didn’t want to spend at the holiday season but my sanity was more important lol

I have a 2014 Sierra 5.3 V8 Z71. I’m getting a very loud groaning type noise I guess you would call it? Multiple people while riding in my truck have said it sounds like a plane taking off. It does it at all times 2WD and 4WD high and low and at all speeds. It is definitely coming from the back end of the vehicle. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a way to tell which HMI is in my truck from the developers menu? (pressing power, home and menu at the same time) . I have a 2014 Sierra 1500 SLE Z71. From reading all 76 pages I’d assume it’s the 2.0. But I’m confused because my truck has the capability of playing movies on my screen from a usb drive?
