  1. Yeah, HP is charging 1400 for the exchange, that’s crazy. Sucks for the natural aspirators out there. Looks like I won’t be doing anything aside from exhaust lol which is good save me some money
  2. Gotcha. I have no experience with tuning the newer ones. Didn’t realize the computer was such a cluster. I’ll look into it
  3. Sucks to live in South Central LA ? and with the insulation in these trucks the exhaust really isn’t that bad. Just did a Borla Atak on my 6.2 and with the windows up only time it’s loud is on takeoff, cruising isn’t that bad. I’m sure outside the cabin it’s noticeable. The 10 speed makes quite a bit of difference by keeping the RPMs down
  4. Not really, cost me 100$ plus dyno time, and by watching this video here it appears I gained that 20% back, and I could get the tires to chirp at 70 mph. I’d say that’s a sizeable gain.
  5. Tune it. do an exhaust as well. I’d be curious to see the results. My 2015 5.3 would mop the floor with that thing. I had bolt ons and an aggressive tune with cleaned up shift points, I don’t have the truck anymore and it’s been a while but I got factory specs at the tires when I did the dyno. I didn’t do a before only after everything was done.
  6. My 1500 Sierra and my Dads 2500 Silverado
  7. I’m curious too. I do t think I can fit 17s on my Sierra with the NHT package. Been looking at 18x9 with a zero offset with icon front coil overs at 2.5-3” lift. Found 305/70 in a KO2 that’s 34.8 12.2 wide on that wheel size. With icons UCA I’m worried I’ll need a spacer with the offset. Will definitely rub on the Sierras around the liner and mud flap
  8. Just installed a catback on my 2020 and don’t really notice at cruising speeds as far as the jake brake sound. I notice it around town more but interstate it’s miles ahead of the AFM system.
  9. Ordered icon extended travel front coil overs planning on raising the front 2.5” with icons UCA, ordered fabtech’s rear stealth mono tube shock that’s good for a 3” lift with a 2.25” block. Planning on a tall 34 and dropping from 20 to 18” wheels. Parts will be in Monday. Also have Borlas Atak catback with carbon fiber tips coming Monday as well. Should have it all done except tires next week. Got a .50 cal billet polished antenna as well
  10. So Westin doesn’t make the relocation kits for these trucks. I heard magnets confuse the system, so I got some neodymium magnets and guerilla double sided tape, and I covered all four, disabled the whole system. I took the outside two off, and still disabled. I took all of them off and it works again. I covered the 2 center ones and disabled the system. It doesn’t turn on and vibrate my seat when I start the truck and I dont have to push the button. Not quite a fix, but got rid of the annoying aspect. I still have my backup camera, parking sensors are overrated anyway lol
  11. Went with a billet polished .50 cal antenna, had black in my last truck, I went polished because of all the chrome trim on the LTZ
  12. Talked with Westin and I was told you can mount the relocation brackets back to back and have to have all four. The sportsman only needs two. I won’t have mine done for a while so hope this helps.
  13. A/C = windows down lol sorry had to, ive experienced this before but not with my 2020, haven’t had to run A/C yet.
  14. I asked and that’s the response I got. My thought would be to put them back to back on the grill guard. I’m going to order 2 pairs and try it out. You have to drill a hole for the two anyway, I don’t see why they wouldn’t work back to back but may end up drilling a hole for each sensor and mounting them on either side but one high and one low. I probably won’t have them installed until the plastic is repaired on my truck. The part is on backorder so whenever it comes in is when I’ll get it all done, the sensors right now aren’t that bad, can’t use the front but have to hit the disable switch when putting it into drive otherwise they freak out.
  15. I found this, I emailed Westin to see if this corrects all 4 or just the center ones. As soon as I get a response I’ll holler. Oh, and the mounting brackets mount opposite of the recovery hooks! So you don’t lose those, I though for sure they would use the same spot but Westin nailed it on that one(minus cutting the plastic) lol
  16. Also I believe there is a relocation kit for those sensors, I will look into that and report back with my findings.
  17. Ok. So I can confirm it does interfere with the front parking sensors. All 4 of them. There is the parking assist switch which turns it off. The dealer screwed up and cut the plastic in the wrong place for the mounting brackets. That part is on backorder so I have until then to decide if I want a grill guard or front parking assist. I back my truck in most places so front parking sensors aren’t really a big deal for me. The rear still work fine and instrument panel tells you which sensors are going off so all intents and purposes I think I’ll keep the grill guard. Having that protection on Montana interstates is more important than front parking assist. Does not affect adaptive cruise, pre collision, or lane departure. That is controlled by the camera in the rear view mirror assembly.
  18. Just ordered Borla Atak catback with carbon fiber tips through RCA garage. 1500$ was the best price I could find. On back order should arrive second week of May.P/N 140776CF
  19. I don’t believe so. I’m getting it installed tomorrow I will let you know
  20. I don’t think so. The sensors are in the bumper and the cruise camera is at the mirror in the windshield, the only thing I could see it interfering with is the camera in the grill on the Denali.
  21. Also, I did confirm the AT4 lift will work with the NHT, you’ll sacrifice payload cap. But you’ll get the AT4 Suspension and the cute little badge.
