  1. I have used DIODE DYNAMICS on my last few with no issues for reverse and plate lights.
  2. Turned in my 20' double cab Red Jewel Elevation 4x4 2.7L for a new 22' crew cab White Elevation RWD 2.7L (STORM TROOPER) New truck rides WAY better than the 2020, the tires on this one are Bridgestone 20" rather than the General 20" RWD vs. 4WD Crew cab vs. Double cab Mods so far: Tint, blacked out tailgate GMC emblem, White GMC front emblem and tow hooks, Lets Go Brandon(FJB) sticker. They definitely fixed some suspension settings or issues these last couple years. I will post pics when I can figure out why it keeps uploading them all upside down?
  3. Elevation package has black pieces as well, that was my choice.
  4. One year and 10K miles so far, no issues with mine at all. best 50 mile mpg average on the dash of 32.5 so far. Had two 5.3's before this and no need to go back. GMC Elevation has plenty of options with this motor.
  5. I would have swapped straight up, but I moved out of Michigan to Florida back in October.
  6. Check mud flaps or running boards if you have them, strange wind flow around the trucks. I added front flaps and it helped what was sounding off the running board in my opinion.
  7. I have an Elevation 2.7 4x4 with the 2-speed so this is an option available with the right trim package.
  8. Heard it for a while on my 2020 Sierra passenger side, I added the factory front mud flaps and seemed like the noise went away? I figured it was the factory side steps whistling and the flaps changed the wind flow, I also swapped to a shorty antenna on the passenger side. Good luck
  9. That is what I was thinking, looked like what used to be out in front nose of other vehicles. Thanks for the answer sir! No puddle light easy swap for me.
  10. Hello, had the truck for over 6 months before noticing a puddle light hole only under the passenger side mirror, and something in the hole with wires going to it. anyone know what this is as it does not seem to light up? wondering if I can add one GMC logo puddle light here unless this is something else entirely. 2020 Elevation no power fold mirror, I swapped to color matched caps and noticed this.
  11. What amazes me is the rpm at 75 mph is only like 1500-1600 with this 8-speed, and the torque means it never downshifts on a grade. Only 2000 miles so far for me and new to the site, but the engine sound is the only thing weird coming from several 5.3's.
