Most likely. But I like the sound improvement. -

That higher TQ flash is the new Colorado not the Silverado -

I was running a piggyback tuner called the JB4 for a while with 93 octane. I have no doubt it was making more power than the CT4-V but the transmission didn’t seem to know what to do with itself. It would pull hard on the highway but day to day driving was kind of choppy. Someone needs to come out with a true engine/trans tune and the engine could be a monster. -

I removed them because both caused me to get random check engine lights and run rough. The pipe and filter have caused no such issues. The MAF doesn’t get moved (it does with a CAI), it’s built into the stock airbox. Most likely it’s just altering the sound. I don’t have any exhaust mods and don’t plan on any. I’m not a fan of the 2.7 with exhaust personally. My butt dyno says it pulls harder longer but I can’t prove it. I have the OG 2.7 not the HO. -

I have the K&N tube and filter. I’ve tried the K&N CAI and the AFE CAI and the K&N tube and filter is the best option IMO. It gives the truck a little more power higher in the revs, doesn’t lose any low end torque and more shockingly makes the engine sound pretty decent. Throaty even. Like a diesel. -

Maybe the evap. Pretty common on the 2.7. It’s a quick fix. -

It’s not advertised anywhere that it does and truthfully I have never been able to tell when it’s in 2 -

Thanks for this! I wonder if I’ll notice loss in performance going 265/65/18 to 275/70/18? -

I installed the Pulsar LT today. I haven’t seen anyone else with it on the 2.7L. This thing is sweet. So easy to install and “program”. Disabling Auto-Shutoff works like a charm and just increasing the throttle 15% is great! There’s no more “lag” when hitting the pedal. Drivability is much improved. I recommend it. When I get (slightly) larger tires my speedo won’t be off either. -

Just wanted to follow up on the JB4 Burger tuner. It was pretty decent just felt a little too unpolished. It made the truck move but the shifting couldn’t keep up and it just felt detached from the rest of the powertrain. Burger tuning has great customer service and offers a “30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee”. I should have read the fine print, you’re hit with a 20% restocking fee. I don’t recommend the tuner. I’m trying a Pulsar LT next for throttle adjustment, Start/Stop disable and I’ll get bigger tires soon so speedo calibration. -

Anyone running 33’s with the 2.7? Big performance decrease and or MPG decrease? -

100% side note, I think I’m sending the tuner back. It’s cool, you notice some power but it’s all up higher in the RPM’s and that’s just not how I drive. I don’t race. I just wanted some more grunt around town and on the highway. -

I don’t think people talk about how much better 2.7 trucks handle than 5.3/6.2. Lighter front end is noticeable. Another pro for the 2.7.
