I am looking to improve the ride of my lifted truck and thought this would be the best place to come since the FB groups don't give you much feedback.
I have a lifted 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT CCSB 2WD, and yes I lifted a 2WD so don't say why'd you do that.. I like it and that's what matter.
The setup is a 5" Rough Country Knuckle Kit + 2.5" Leveling kit. Total - 7.5" front, 5" rear. Riding on stock 18" rims and 305/65/18's. I am torn between getting Bilstein 5100 front shocks and then installing them back on with the strut spacer and leveling kit OR getting the 5" lifted strut, removing the 0.5" on top of the strut and running the 2" leveling piece on the bottom of the strut OR going with the full 7" lifted strut and just tossing the leveling kit out of the picture.
Maybe there is a better route? Or maybe running the Bilstein 5100's with the strut spacers would still improve the ride enough that I was happy with it.
What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance. This is my first post here!
