I have a 2003 Suburban and it Dies for no apparent reason. Runs fine at times sluggish at other times. It's kinda all over the place. Try to start after it dies it will spit and sputter and die 4 or 5 times in a row then start like nothing is wrong. I have changed fuel filter and the mass air flow (MAF)sensor because it was codeing for the MAF. I can hear the fuel pump turn on when I turn the key to the on possition so ruled that out unless I am missing something as far as the fuel pump goes ? Now previously if I would let the fuel tank get to less than 1\3 tank of fuel it would not start but it wouldn't die just driving like it does now and if I kept it over 1\3 tank I never had a problem starting it. I am absolutely at a loss on this. Anybody have an idea ?
