I just did this on my 2007 Silverado, step 1 - 6 according to PIT4484H.
For step 7 this is what I did.
1) created a free TIS2WEB account.
2) called TIS2WEB to request the calibration change.
3) Supplied login name on TIS2WEB account and vehicle VIN. They will ask you to email a workorder for updating cruise, with parts installed and part numbers. (I just googled a blank auto work
order form filled it out and sent it) .
4) If all is well, you will have a updated calibration file on the TIS2WEB site. (took me 3 calls, truck is a 2007.5 there database called it up as a GMT-800 not GMT-900)
5) pay the fee for the new calibration file currently $125, waiting for the bill from them.
6) Now you can take it to dealer or shop to flash latest BCM calibration or flash it yourself.
I flashed it myself using a VCX NANO $89 and a $40 2 year 1 VIN subscription on TIS2WEB, my local dealership wanted over $200 just to flash it.
