I have the 3.0 diesel and has been in the shop nearly 30 days for the crank no start issue. I was just give the replacement or repurchase option.

I don’t think the 3.0 is listed on that bulletin, but I’ll push for it. Thanks for the info!

Has anyone had the ECM replaced? Did it solve the problem?

They removed the alarm, 3 stops later it did it again... it will be back in on Monday.

My dealer is saying the problem may be the aftermarket dealer installed alarm.....Karr security system.

Add me to the list. 2020 RST 3.0 Duramax. 1100 miles on it and I have had the crank no start issue about 10 times. Got it on video once. I just got it back from the dealer with no resolve. Mine will crank for about 15 seconds then stop. It has started the very next attempt every time. No CEL or codes thrown. I have noticed the voltage gauge does fluctuate quite a bit. All fuse block wires are tight. I mention the ECM bulletin to the service dept., but without the codes they didn’t do anything.
