  1. I have a 2016 LT. It doesn't have the controller to the left of the steering wheel if that is what your are asking. There is nothing in particular I have planned on towing. Granted I do understand there are roughly 3 standard ball sizes that would go with the trailer you pull. This was more to get what I could in case the need arises. More like I have the money now and would like to get at least most of it. As for wiring, there are two items near the license plate. I know one is for breaking the trailer from trying to read the manual but not sure what the second one is for. I havent pulled anything in a long time. When I was a teen, we had a Glastron boat I have towed up to the lake and I have towed my own car on back of a U-Haul. Beside that nothing of a constant nature.
  2. This is the first truck I have ever owned. Even though I am not planning to tow in the near future, I would like to go ahead and have the things I may need so its not something I have to go get when the need arises. What all would I need to have to tow properly and safely? Wiring harnesses, balls etc. My truck is at stock height at this time. I tried looking through the manual but I cant say it was a great help to determine the best course of action. So with that said, I defer to the experts here. Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
  3. For those that wondering about J-Pipe system and considered the Solo Performance exhaust system but cannot find sound clips, below are two that I received from the company. This is not my truck but sounds pretty close to this. I personally have the black tipped version. I have zero drone down the highway with this. It is not obnoxiously loud even when getting down on it. Hope this helps with your search for exhaust. IMG_0012.mov IMG_0011.mov
  4. The seats were killing my lower back and the backs of my legs before I installed a lift kit for the back of the seat. Not sure if it would help you but it sure helped me having the rear of the seat more level with the fronts. https://seating-solutions.com/
  5. Would these below work well together and sound good? https://www.crutchfield.com/p_108K63XF/Infinity-Kappa-63XF.html?tp=105 https://www.crutchfield.com/p_206DSC6904/Kicker-43DSC69304.html?tp=105 https://www.crutchfield.com/p_20647KSC27/Kicker-47KSC2704.html?tp=105
  6. I have the upgraded audio (not Bose) in my truck. I want it to have a bit better sound. Its not that what it has bothers me greatly but would like to have bit more bass to it. I really do not want to add a sub under my rear seats. I throw things back there often. Do you guys have any suggestions on changing out the dash and door speakers to a better quality that would give it a bit more punch and clarity? Thanks for any input.
  7. I have the Solo exhaust on my truck. Its pretty mellow even with their loudest version. I removed the extendable portion of the J-pipe just to get a bit more db out of it. No drone. at all. Glad you got yours worked out. Drone sure can give a headache.
  8. So I guess there is no other way to lift the seats other than this one kit?
  9. No, I have powered seats. The problem with the powered seats is it still does not lift the back to be level with the front. The seat raises in tandem. Its the first vehicle I have ever owned that does this. Usually the front would lift or lower and so would the back.
  10. I drive a 2016 Silverado and the seat is killing my lower back and tailbone. Is there any other way to lift the seat other than seating-solutions? I have sent emails and even left a voicemail and cannot get a response. I love my truck but these seats leave a lot to be desired.
  11. I have used Michelin Stealth for years and love them.
  12. I like the way the Solo sounds too. Here is supposedly the quieter of the two.
  13. I wanna say that kit is more expensive. However, I had Solo on my Camaro and it sounded pretty good. Granted I added LTHs and HFs so it was crazy loud. Not going for that anymore. Just a mild nice sound of a real truck lol. It sounds like its electric right now HAHA.
  14. Im definitely not going for crazy loud. I had a 2013 Camaro SS that was obnoxiously loud. Kinda over it. I do think Ill eventually get the Solo Performance exhaust with the quad black tips eventually.
  15. Thanks. I was just making sure it wasnt going to sound like crap or anything. I will eventually get around to changing the exhaust but that will be a while. Figured this would help a tad with sound and a lot with flow.
  16. I recently purchased my Silverado. I am thinking about removing the flapper since I use a range anyway just to have less restriction on the exhaust. I cannot seem to find a sound clip though of only the flapper being removed. Does anyone have a sound clip of the stock exhaust with just the flapper removed? Thanks.
