  1. The dealership told me they have no idea. They also stated that the compressor has had six different part numbers too. Seems they may have issues making one that works. The loaner truck I had worked just as bad. The first 1-2 min was pure hot air before it even attempted to start cooling. After that, it didnt react that way the rest of the day.
  2. Yep mine is on backorder also.
  3. 100% agree, there are a lot of variables. I definitely do not drive I’ve like a grandpa but also don’t drive like I stole it. Truck is currently in the shop so I’ll have to get weight later. The price for driving it doesn’t bother me. My precious was a 6.2l so the cost between the two is a wash.
  4. My 26 6.6L Gas only gets about 11.2 around town. Envy you guys getting over 12 LOL. I assume its because its a TB and has 34" tires vs 33".
  5. I miss the old R12 stuff. The AC in my 79 Camaro was amazing compared to most newer vehicles I have owned. It would also freeze the grass when you had a little left in the can lol.
  6. Mine is in the shop for the AC now. While it did get cold after a bit, it would take a while to even start to cool the air at all. Turns out the compressor was bad and cycling.
  7. Yes they have sequential lights. They also are puddle lights when the door is opened. Boost Auto Lumastep M2 are the brand.
  8. Figured Id throw mine up. 2026 2500 6.6l gas Trail Boss
  9. Currently have KO3's on my 2500 and love them. Less than 7K miles on them but they are quiet.
  10. I believe the J-pipe causes a 180 degree phase shift in the frequency that causes drone. Doing so cancels out the sound.
  11. Boost Auto Lumastep M2 are nice too. That is what I have on my truck.
  12. I thought the tow ratings were in the door jam? I think mine even says for fifth wheel/gooose neck it will do around 18K.
  13. Mine cuts out once in a while but not as bad as yours. Between cut outs and garbled audio, both are a known issue since they did the refresh.
  14. It's all about what's in black and white. If nothing mentions specifically the puck package, then you didnt buy that option regardless of what the dealership verbally said.
  15. The noise that can be heard in various gears is a separate noise than the one I can hear in park or slightly rolling through the neighborhood. The one for in park mentions it gets worse as it heats up. Mine is a constant. Never gets any less or more.
  16. Beats me all the way around. Mine has a whine in park (assume it's the transmission) and has the planetary gear whine around 3rd and 4th up to about 38mph. It shifts fine and the dealership doesnt seem to worried about it so might as well ride it as is. I have wondered if it was just low on fluid because some have said theirs was but haven't bothered to check.
  17. Believe its 10sp only. I have a whine also while driving or in park. Not sure where it's coming from but they didnt seem to concerned. If you take yours in and they fix it, let me know. Maybe I'll hit the back up and ask again. Mine has sounded like this since day one and it never gets louder or lessens the more it heats up. Its all a constant.
  18. Since I’ve seen a lot of posts mentioning this noise and GM seems to elude to its normal, I am just leaving it be. If it gets worse with time etc I’ll make them do something. I didn’t want them to swap the transmission out if the next one was going to do the same thing.
  19. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2024/MC-11012007-0001.pdf It has a few items on this list but about youre looking for the below portion. Reaction Gearset Whine (Gearset One) With variation in gear tooth finish and positional control, some customers may experience whine from the reaction planetary gearset during light to moderate driving conditions. Most common conditions to hear whine from the reaction gearset is in 4th and 5th gear (20-35 MPH) (32-56 KPH). Reaction gearset is active in gears 3-6 and 8-10 so depending on severity it may be possible to hear in gears other than 4/5. Frequency of whine will change as transmission shifts gears due to component rotation speeds being changed. Utilizing manual tap to shift through gears is a good way to verify what gears whine in present in. Note: Whine from the reaction gearset should not be present in 7th gear due to the 1:1 ratio and gears being locked. If whine is present in 7th gear, issue likely lives with some other component.
  20. Mine has made the same noise since new. There is a TSB about it. My dealership said the same thing, it's normal. Its generally around 3rd to 4th gear and its gone around 38mph.
  21. Haven't had a single hard downshift in my 2026 2500HD LTZ TB. It's been pretty smooth. The only thing mine does is have a whine around 3rd and 4th gear up to about 38mph. This is supposedly normal operation too.
  22. I owned a 2022 Silverado 1500 ZR2 and those seats were firm as hell. It was like sitting on a rock. Drove a Ram 1500 when my truck was in the shop. Seats are way move comfortable in those. I will say though my 2026 Silverado 2500 LTZ TB seats are better than the ZR2 was but the Ram's were still better.
  23. Isnt the lock cylinder for the door hidden in the handle?
  24. I could handle 1 second. The amount of time it is right now is just too much considering it’s a $75K truck. They may tell me to pound sand though. We shall see.
