  1. I honestly cannot recall if my 26 came with a manual or not. I just automatically downloaded it. Id most likely be inside trying to look up something anyway.
  2. Did they fix the valve body issues on the 2026 transmissions?
  3. I got my 2026 6.6l gas almost a month ago now. Build date was August. So far I love it but man they should pay more attention for QC lol.
  4. Going to have mine looked at next week for this. Under 35K miles and filled it up to the top of the book in March. Today it's down about an inch. That was roughly over 7K miles. I dont think it should be using this much coolant. However, there is no smell in the engine bay or out the pipes and nothing it the oil.
  5. The throttle response is why I added a evcX to my truck. Now my throttle response is great.
  6. Totally understand. I also agree it's not as plentiful as other oils. I would have been happy if we just went back to 5W30 and been done with it as the oil goes. I thought switching to the 0W40 would help with oil loss a bit. Never lost a great amount, less than half a quart between changes. However, I can already see it dipping from the full line at its only been about 600mi.
  7. Except that now there is more than just 0W40 Supercar listed as DexosR licensed. Mobile 1 FS 0W40 is not really in short supply as it's generally stocked everywhere. Granted, it doesnt mention on the bottle its certified but GM's website does list it has a license.
  8. When mine was completed, the only thing they did was change the oil to 0W40 Supercar. They didnt even have the oil cap on hand or the insert for that matter. I went back a week later to grab the cap and hand them the old one. The insert I could care less about.
  9. Mine passed inspection. I expected nothing less really. I had them on video making a comment how the inspections never worked lol. Oil changed and new cap with 10yr 150mi warranty.
  10. Pretty much overnight, they approved multiple Mobil1 products as Dexos R event though the bottle doesnt say it is. Mobil 1 FS European Car Formula Full Synthetic Motor Oil 0W-40 is pretty much the same price as other 5QT jugs.
  11. I have these on my 22 ZR2. Love them. They are quiet and sure aren’t as slippery as the GY Wranglers that came on the truck. I purchased them around Sept or Oct of last year.
  12. Got my actual recall letter yesterday even though it's complete lol. It said I had the extended warranty so I decided to go look again. Yep, there it was. So I am covered for 7.5 more years and 120K more miles on the engine for that failure.
  13. So now my recall shows as complete. No where under my list of warranties does it show the engine had any special coverage. The only warranty on the PT is the normal 5yr/60K miles. Granted, I paid for an service plan through Knapp and Im covered til 2031 or 99950 miles.
  14. Do I have access to that? I just look on My Chevrolet and see it still lists an uncompleted recall. I am still waiting on the cap to be provided as they had to order it but other than that, the test and oil change was completed.
  15. I understand that it was there, I was just saying what the dealership said when I asked about it. I was told no extension. Maybe it's something GM itself will add? I can only relay what I was told. Granted my truck fell under the 0000 recall. Not sure if that matters or not. According to My Chevrolet, the recall is still open. Maybe due to the fact they had to order the cap. LOL
  16. Mine was completed just a bit ago. Passed the test and they changed the oil. They have to order the oil cap. There was NO extra warranty included according to the dealership. So there is the end of that rumor too I suppose.
  17. Mine called me then texted me days later. I finally called on Monday and scheduled it for Friday. Figured even though I changed my oil about 1500 miles ago I might as well get this out of the way. I needed a couple of warranty items looked at anyway.
  18. Id say mine isnt too far off judging from the readings on the Autel scanner. Unless they get their readings from the same place that is. The scanner does absolute pressure too.
  19. My dealership called me Friday wanting me to bring mine in. The lady was like this is so important because its a safety recall....lol I told her Id get back to her since we were building desks for our office at the time.
  20. Maybe. However, I am sure not switching it back just to do this test. The test can pass and they change my oil for all I care. At the end of the day, when any of them still go bad it's on GM to fix it. We all know it's a bandaid fix and the engines are already worn and WILL still go bad. They will say they did the recall and want to "investigate" again. Just further kicks the can. Luckily, I have a warranty until 99,950 miles. So Im good with it.
  21. Nothing that I have noticed. Seems pretty on par IMHO. Granted this is going off the DIC as I stopped hand jamming the numbers a while ago cause I stopped caring lol. I saw more MPG drop from switching from 91 Oct no ethy to 93 Oct with. LOL
  22. I already changed mine out to the 0W40 oil. I was due an oil change when all this started.
  23. Guess the recall against my truck was updated and now can be taken in. I think I'll wait a month or so since I just changed my oil. Might as well get my monies worth out of it lol.
  24. Too bad the updated recall doesnt mention extending the warranty.
  25. At this point, I would rather them just give me a 10yr 150K mi warranty and send me on my way with the 0W40 oil. As for worrying if it will die, she's gonna go or she's gonna blow. Why sweat it every day.
