  1. The only difference between the two trucks were the 360 view and the front and rear assist. Nothing that would drastically change their weight. Rear gears are also the same between the two. However, the LTD 5.3L's are all rated lower by 2MPG HWY and 1 CITY. Not sure as to why and cant get a straight answer out of the dealership either. Not to mention, this truck runs hotter that the 21 Sierra. Never saw the Sierra go past 212 while this one will go up to 220.
  2. The Pulsar indeed works in the 22 LTD. I am running one myself. What doesnt work according to Range is the ODBII plug in. When I asked them why it lists the plug in as not available for the 22 LTD's, they told me the software was different. I figured they just called the same truck a 22 instead of a 21 myself, other than the MPG difference between the two.
  3. I have a 22 LTD and have the Borla S-type on mine. Love it.
  4. According to Range, the software is different in the 22 LTD's vs the 21's. However, I can say that the 22s and 21s are different in some way shape form or fashion has they do not get nor are they rated the same for fuel consumption. My 21 Sierra w/o DFM was rated for 20 on the HWY. My 22 LTD Silverado Is rated for 20 HWY WITH DFM. So something is definitely going on to drop 2mpg that the 21s with DFM are rated. I will say though that the Pulsar LT works just fine with the 22 LTD's. I am running one now.
  5. Have LastFits on order right now myself cant wait for them to get here. Its the last bulbs I need to replace to have all LEDs
  6. No one said I was special in any way. I am just an average guy. I know things can be tracked in all sorts of ways. I am not lost on that fact by any means. But that doesn't mean I want to make it super easy for them to do so. I am not OK with them doing it without my consent. The moment everyone says its OK and just doesn't care that they do, another freedom is lost. I think it should be a personal choice if they mine data off anything I use or not.
  7. I got that there a lot of things sending data etc. Granted I usually tell the few devices I have not to send anything. Didnt think much about Onstar though. Definitely have a point there. For the most part, I dont have smart anything in my house. No Social media and such. I figure its no one's business what I do when and where. Guess instead of buying a new truck, I should have bought a really old one ROFL.
  8. I have the Bakflip MX4 on mine and love it. Its a hard cover but so far no leaks and it looks great.
  9. Just read an article this morning about GM Future Roads and Safety View. Supposedly GM will be sharing data with the government. However, it doesn't really say how this will work. Is this something coming or will it use existing tech already in our vehicles? Have any of you heard of this and have any other info. I went to their site below but it doesn't mention HOW they will monitor. Thanks. https://futureroads.gm.com/site/us/en/gm-future-roads/home/safety-view.html
  10. That is about what I figured but wasn't sure.
  11. If there are no codes in your dash, it is probably just a glitch and it will update and fix itself later. I have had mine do this when I started the truck for a very short moment and cut it back off.
  12. What happens if you re-gear the rear but not the front?
  13. LOL yeah. Maybe I should just not stress over it then. Apparently they do just fine with so much weight
  14. I do find it funny how they say, "When available", but yet new trucks are coming out with the features intact. So, apparently they are available, just not to us lol.
  15. I thought on most window stickers, when it mentioned the steering wheel, it did not mention it would be retrofitted.
  16. I currently have a payload of around 1750. Even if I could only get it 500lbs that would suit me just fine.
  17. Sadly, they no longer do this. I requested mine some weeks ago and found this out. Luckily, the dealer I got the truck from still had it and send it to me.
  18. Thanks. Next will be Amp boards but that will be a while. Its my wife's turn next to get things she wants . I do have to take it back in for a re-tint on the windshield though. Has two areas that are messed up.
  19. Too bad it isnt that easy here. Would be nice. Better yet, stop making tint laws lol. That would be even better. Tint or no tint people cant drive here at all. And damn if it sprinkles.
  20. Supposedly the Range doesnt work due to software changes. At least that i what the company told me when I asked this same question.
  21. Detail guy came today and washed, clayed, buffed and waxed the truck. Bit over four hours later and hes done. I love the look and feel of a nice clean vehicle LOL.
  22. Yeah. I am probably just going to resubmit the waiver and see if someone else gets it and approves. I hate not doing things the correct way but, without tint the sun kills.
  23. Wow, I am surprised they tinted OVER the sticker. They told me upon tinting it any stickers would have to be removed etc. Which worked out great because I hadnt gotten around to removing the WiFi/ONstar sticker on the passenger window lol. I wanted 35% because that is what I had ran on my 13 Camaro, 16 silverado and 21 Sierra. However, for whatever reason, it looked really too dark on this truck. Barely could see the headlights. I am wondering though if they put 20% instead since that is what the front windows are. It would explain why it was so super dark. As light as it is now, it seems more than a 10% difference. I have even wondered about the rear which I asked for 20% to be put on. I can still see through it so it looks lighter than 4%. Overall, it still looks good though. I may think about getting a brow later on just to block some of the sun. FL didnt give me the waiver for my truck this time (Not sure why since they gave one for the other car two weeks ago) LOL. They told me my chronic migraines wasnt good enough and told me to wear sunglasses lol. So wasnt trying to draw too much attention to myself
  24. 45% on the windshield (didnt ask for a brow also that definite line there would have drove me nuts), 20% on the fronts, slightly less than 20% on the rears (had them put "clear" which is really 70%), should be around 4% on the back as I asked them to put 20% on it. All with Xpel XR.
  25. Sadly, a good anything these days is hard to find. So much of the quality and care in work went out the window. I took it back up there this morning. Now only time will tell. As long as the bubbles dry out like they are supposed to, it will look good. I did have the put 45% on the windshield instead of 35% though. I dont think the Silverado's headlights are as bright as the Sierra's. Granted, considering the difference in looking at my windshield, it makes me wonder if they put darker on it originally that they were supposed to. Who knows now though. At least its done and my interior, minus the windows, is cleaned back up. Tomorrow my detailer comes to strip buff and wax her.
