  1. Towing is def confusing lol. Glad I dont ever really need to. However, one day when the kids are gone and we move to TN, I was informed I have to pull her Terrain. Def light weight enough but it will be the first thing I have towed in a very long time.
  2. Correct me if I am wrong, but since having a different filter or a CAI doesn't change how open the throttle is, it really doesn't increase any air flow? Wouldnt a different filter or CAI etc only make it less restrictive and allow the air to flow easier but still be the same volume?
  3. If the tow capacity on a 21 TB is 9100-9300, why couldnt it tow 7k?
  4. Saved $25 today and installed a diode to jump pins 10 and 22 so the fog lights come on with the headlamps without pushing the button. Had a few diodes laying around so....free mod! LOL
  5. Glad I took my Rancho's off 1200mi ago. I put the Eibach kit on mine and agree, its rides like a whole new truck. This is how it should have rode new.
  6. Im glad mine didnt come with DFM and I just disabled the AS/S yesterday.
  7. Good, I may do this myself. At $25 its not a great cost and then I no longer have to hit the button every morning. This keeps it permanently on correct? You cannot hit the button after to turn it off.
  8. Anyone install the Boost auto jumper for fog lights? Thoughts?
  9. A lot of info in this thread concerning 87 Octane in the 6.2L
  10. AS/S Eliminator installed. No more having to even think about it.
  11. What necessitates the need for steering re-calibration? I put the Eibach struts, springs and shocks on mine. Got just under 2" on the front and even a slight bit on the back. They had to align it three different times to get the steering wheel centered. However, it does seem its a lot more touchy than it was prior. It seems to track straight but if you bump it ever so slightly one way or the other it goes off that direction.
  12. Hind sight 20/20 and all lol.
  13. Yeah Im sure. Granted I dont know that I could have wired it up without popping loose the grill.
  14. Yeah I found that video later when I was looking up trying to figure out how to fix the bumper cover. Would have been nice to find that one first but...I didnt lol. Sucks I did it myself to save money having it installed to have to take it to fix the cover that isnt clipping back in place. Lesson learned I suppose.
  15. I did not. In a video I had seen it showed removing the top shroud and 4 bolts and popping it out a bit. Unfortunately, it pops out those clips. No video mentions it so it doesnt say how to get them back in. I tried everything I could but the angle was just wrong to get it in correctly.
  16. Apparently I did not get the two clips back in on the bumper cover section between the grill and headlight assy. Anyone know how to get those two clips on each side back in by chance? Dealer can look at it on Wed and said it may cost around $150 for labor. If its something simple and stupid I am missing to do it myself I would greatly appreciate the advise. Thanks.
  17. I have the Eibach kit installed. I got about right at 2" from it. For bonus, it rides better than the Ranchos and the struts and shocks have a million mile warranty.
  18. Installed the illuminated GMC Emblem. Sadly, I broke a couple of clips on the grill hence the zip ties. I put epoxy behind the emblem where those clips were to help hold it in place. I have decided, playing with the grill is not fun at all. I am not 100% sure I got the clips in all the way where the painted section is between the grill and the headlight assy. They dont seem to look odd but still not 100%. Either way, its working and doesnt "appear" to be anything off center etc. Next weekend the AS/S disabler should arrive and Ill put that on.
  19. Prices sure have gotten crazy.
  20. When I first purchased my truck, the driver mirror would go up and left instead of down when in reverse. I took it in and they were able to re-calibrate it. Has worked ever sense. The only thing I have noticed is if it takes me more than say 30 secs to back in the garage, they return to their normal positions.
  21. We recently purchased my wife a 2022 Terrain and they said that we would be notified by GM we were good for the retrofit. They said it looks like this summer, maybe fall before that takes place though.
  22. Looks nose high just due to how the front is designed.
  23. I personally have a jump box for both our vehicles. The jump box was around $100. However you can get jumper cables that are 4 gauge and 20' long for around $30. At those specs it will jump up to a 6L. For the longest time they have said do not use jumper cables on your vehicle so its not something more recent.
  24. When I had my 2016, I had a slight drop off in mileage but I changed my engine T-stat at the same time. So I contributed it to both. It was roughly about .5mpg that I had lost give or take a tenth. With that being said, when my warranty is up on the new truck, Ill flip it on the 8sp lol.
