  1. Thanks, I may look into that when I get other things done I want. I thought about black wheels on her but I think it would look too muddy. Maybe black with machined face though. That way it has some offset.
  2. Its the Pacific Blue Metallic. So basically midnight metallic blue lol.
  3. Was a definite no go on them swapping the hood. The paint and bodyshop had said that GM wouldnt warranty the hood after the repaint so the Dealership is going to check on that. I find it odd they wouldnt but still.
  4. I went cheap on the exhaust and just had the muffler removed. Actually sounds pretty damn good without it. I left the resonators though. Maybe one day Ill do LTHs also but that would be years away lol.
  5. A lot of different posts I have read here have said leveling it doesnt drop MPG too terribly much. However, those same post will say tires will kill your MPG. If you went from a stock 9" wide tire and went to a 12.5" tire, depending on the brand you chose, it could have added a lot of weight per tire. My Sierra SLT has stock 33's on it that are 40lbs each. There are some tires that are still stock size but weight 20lbs more each. That alone kill MPG without ever going up in size or width. Plus, like rbdjr said, winter grade fuel sucks also.
  6. I may try to ask again to see what they say. That would be 100% ideal to me.
  7. They arent planning on painting the entire hood. Just the area around the blemish. They will reclear the entire hood though.
  8. Wouldnt that be amazing if they did that. However, they do not seem to be willing. All of us have said the same thing. Easy fix and send that one back to GM like you would any failed part.
  9. It isnt that they wouldnt do it, they just said that OEM is always better. They gave me the written estimate I needed to take back to the dealership. It was just under $500. Said they would sand the entire hood but only to the metal in the area of the blemish. They would then paint that area and then clear the entire hood.
  10. Yes, it would be a warranty issue but the dealership sends it to a body shop for painting. You can see it better in the sun if youre in front of it. Some may not notice it but I did.
  11. Thank you for the reply. I have an appointment scheduled on the 26th with the local GMC dealership. I would assume they will have to order replacements for all four doors. Ive honestly never seen anything like it since the change to plastic trim. If you still want the above requested information, let me know and I can still send it to you.
  12. When I purchased my truck, there was/is a blemish in the pain on the hood. Its about a quarter sized area. Since its in the pain, it cannot be buffed out. I was told by the body shop, they would leave it alone since the factory paint job would be better in the log run. Granted, I am a bit OCD when it comes to things so it would be a bit rough to let it go. However, what are some of your opinions on this? I read that most body shops worth their salt could make it great where youd never know but it still would not be as durable as factory since its baked on when built vs what the body shop would do. Thanks in advance.
  13. Saturday had the outside completely washed, clayed and polished. Shes looking mighty nice. Sunday had the two side windows tinted at 20% and the windshield at 35%.
  14. Well then, I may be looking at Diode Dynamics again. Loved the 720Lm ones on the old truck. Those were nice and bright.
  15. Yeah I almost purchased one of these but decided against it in the end. It looked/worked great on my 16 Silverado but didnt think it would on the 21 Sierra. The depth under the tailgate on the 21 is much deeper. Saw one running down the road and it barely put out any light til I got up on it. After seeing that, it just wasnt worth the $300 to me.
  16. Def not rail dust. When I had my windows tinted yesterday, he checked and tried to clean that. He is also a detailer. He said he thinks its something under a coated layer instead of on the surface.
  17. I thought I read somewhere on here that the reverse LED lights werent able to be changed. Is that not accurate.
  18. Yeah, every bulb on my truck are LEDs now. However, I do wish some were brighter. I put some 720lm LEDs in my reverse lights on my 16 Silverado. Wish I could do the same here. Helped the camera a lot at night.
  19. I tried using a clay bar on a small area to see what it would do and it didnt do anything at all. I have some Mequire's Ultimate wax I can see if that helps also. Thanks for the tips.
  20. Glad I read the post above, I forgot about the license plate bulbs being switched to LED on day one lol. Also the organizer trey for the console as well. How they decided to put LEDs everywhere except the rear plate is beyond me.
  21. Ill try to look into that. Good thing I have no sense of smell lol. My wife on the other hand makes up for it LOL super sensitive nose. One of the few times a magic eraser let me down lol
  22. But its odd that it is only on the trim around the four doors and no where else. We have no trees around our home or where I work. When Im at home its parked in the garage. I am hoping they replace it under warranty since the truck is 2 mo old.
  23. Here is an image of a section. Its hard to get a better image in the garage out of the sunlight. But like you see the brown dots here, they are all over every bit of the trim around all four doors and no where else. Tried cleaning it and even taking a magic eraser to it and changed nothing.
  24. What do you mean? I tried cleaning it with different items and nothing helped. Also, how would it contaminate only the trim around all four doors and nothing else?
  25. Totally glad I came across this thread. This is what I wanted for my 2021 Sierra. Guess now Ill just get the sub and hope for the best with sound.
