  1. I believe you said a gas ZR2 2500? If that is the case, it's BS 100%. I have a gas 2500 and get around 11 in the city. It sure as hell isnt jumping to 18 on the hwy. Most likely, if youre talking hwy MPG, it will get 14. That would put you at 504 a tank.
  2. Let me know how it turns out.
  3. I did get in touch with BA. They said due to the curvature of the cab, it's the way it's supposed to look. They did say if I slide the boards all the way forward it would take of it out. I just cant have them sitting all the way like that. Would drive me nuts looking off centered.
  4. This is what it looks like from the side.
  5. This is from directly above. there are no adjustments on the brackets. The boards were all the way to the rear originally so I moved them more to the middle to try to take some of it out but it didnt help much.
  6. I just had their Lumastep M2 installed on my truck. Dont care for the way the guy wired up my engine bay at all Id play hell trying to decipher through it to fix it. The boards seem fine so far. The only thing I dont care for is the fact that the rear of the cab has a curve inward so the boards stick out on the backside.
  7. Personally I wish they would go back old school. Every vehicle I have owned that has had AFM/DFM and I disabled it, didnt change my MPG that was anything noticeable. The previous 1500 I had, a 2022 Silverado ZR2, had the AS/S and DFM disabled along with 0W40 oil and no noticeable change in MPG. IMHO, most of this stuff seems more gimmicky and cost more in the long run to both the OEM and consumer Luckily, this time around, I just purchased a 2500 with the 6.6L gas so nothing but engine there.
  8. My question would be, considering both former attempts at deactivation most people hated and had issues, what makes them think third time is the charm? I kinda expect the same results with it as the previous two attempts.
  9. I am selling the steps that came on my truck (2026 Silverado 2500HD). They were on the truck for less than 300 miles. As you can see from the link, new they are $1,195. I am asking $900 for them if you are in the Pensacola area. https://accessories.chevrolet.com/product/crew-cab-off-road-high-clearance-assist-steps-in-black-85654359?body=Crew Cab Pickup&bodyId=22&bodyNumDoors=5&bodyNumDoorsId=5&make=Chevrolet&makeId=47&model=Silverado 2500 HD&modelId=494&wheel=Standard Box&wheelId=349&year=2026&bac=288285
  10. I looked yesterday and mine did not come with a manual. I downloaded it day one so no big deal to me.
  11. Absolutely hate the headlamps. Remind me of an older model GMC.
  12. I thought that there were two different modules there, one for the standard back up and one for the hitch. Well then, maybe the new module sucks or they didnt actually change it. That sucks. That's also weird considering every other vehicle I have owned with this, all cameras looked the same. You can even see the shading of the rear camera from the "overhead" view too.
  13. Since I purchased my truck in October, the rear camera has always been darker compared to all of the cameras on the truck. I took it to the dealership and they replaced the backup camera, however, it did not fix the issue. When I showed the SA it wasnt fixed, we looked at the trailer hit camera and it was dark also. He said he had to open a case with GM to try and figure it out. My question is, if anyone knows, what is the common connection for both cameras. I assume they both connect to a central point somewhere and maybe that is the issue since it doesnt appear to be the camera itself. Thanks
  14. I honestly cannot recall if my 26 came with a manual or not. I just automatically downloaded it. Id most likely be inside trying to look up something anyway.
  15. Did they fix the valve body issues on the 2026 transmissions?
  16. I got my 2026 6.6l gas almost a month ago now. Build date was August. So far I love it but man they should pay more attention for QC lol.
  17. Going to have mine looked at next week for this. Under 35K miles and filled it up to the top of the book in March. Today it's down about an inch. That was roughly over 7K miles. I dont think it should be using this much coolant. However, there is no smell in the engine bay or out the pipes and nothing it the oil.
  18. The throttle response is why I added a evcX to my truck. Now my throttle response is great.
  19. Totally understand. I also agree it's not as plentiful as other oils. I would have been happy if we just went back to 5W30 and been done with it as the oil goes. I thought switching to the 0W40 would help with oil loss a bit. Never lost a great amount, less than half a quart between changes. However, I can already see it dipping from the full line at its only been about 600mi.
  20. Except that now there is more than just 0W40 Supercar listed as DexosR licensed. Mobile 1 FS 0W40 is not really in short supply as it's generally stocked everywhere. Granted, it doesnt mention on the bottle its certified but GM's website does list it has a license.
  21. When mine was completed, the only thing they did was change the oil to 0W40 Supercar. They didnt even have the oil cap on hand or the insert for that matter. I went back a week later to grab the cap and hand them the old one. The insert I could care less about.
  22. Mine passed inspection. I expected nothing less really. I had them on video making a comment how the inspections never worked lol. Oil changed and new cap with 10yr 150mi warranty.
  23. Pretty much overnight, they approved multiple Mobil1 products as Dexos R event though the bottle doesnt say it is. Mobil 1 FS European Car Formula Full Synthetic Motor Oil 0W-40 is pretty much the same price as other 5QT jugs.
  24. I have these on my 22 ZR2. Love them. They are quiet and sure aren’t as slippery as the GY Wranglers that came on the truck. I purchased them around Sept or Oct of last year.
  25. Got my actual recall letter yesterday even though it's complete lol. It said I had the extended warranty so I decided to go look again. Yep, there it was. So I am covered for 7.5 more years and 120K more miles on the engine for that failure.
