  1. I didn't realize how bad mine looked until I got in my daughter's 2019 Honda Insight. The backup camera on that car looks like HD TV.
  2. After going into three dealerships and not getting more than $500 off their "internet" price in person, I made contact with the internet sales of about12 dealers. I specified what I was looking for, advised I had driven the model truck I am interested in a couple of times, was ready to purchase but was seeking more serious offers than their internet prices. What I am getting is their same old internet prices, or come in for a test drive when I told them I did not need to test drive again, but nothing really serious. Most act like they didn't even read the email. Only one actually gave me a decent quote with a breakdown of the price. He acknowledged it was not one of the colors I wanted, but said he wanted to extend an offer. I'm actually reconsidering the color, because the guy is interested in playing ball. It's like the dealers have almost turned into no-haggle price dealers with their 10% off on a 2019. I bought a car three years ago by negotiating with two cars dealers back and forth for a few days and got the price I was looking for. You know - old school - where there is active back and forth negotiating while sitting at the dealer.
  3. I went to two dealerships today thinking I was going to negotiate and possibly buy a 2019 2500 LTZ, but basically all I got was their posted internet prices which were between 6 and 10% off MSRP plus the applied rebates. I told them I wanted the dealership to kick in more than 10%. Neither was interested in entertaining any offer I had that was less than what they presented me. "Well, OK - bye." It's been three years since I bought my last car, but did I miss something the past few years? They didn't advertise as "no-haggle" dealerships, but essentially they were today. Am I wrong to push for 20% off MSRP, in addition to my rebates?
