Hi everyone! I recently bought an 05 chevy silverado 2500 HD. The hood is rusted, and I was wondering what years can I replace it with? Any help would be appreciated.

I am considering buying a 2001 Chevy Silverado 3500. This truck has the 8.1L gas with a Allison tranny. It has 237,000mi on it. Any thoughts on if this is a good decision? Experiences members have had with this engine tranny? Life expectancy of this engine? Thanks for any help you can give!
