Thanks CamGTP! Would the lifter still cycle 2-3 engine rotations, then stop? I figured it wouldn’t cycle at all.

Hi everybody, I have done many searches on this and see other people having the same issue... But nobody ever posts what their solution was. I have a 2008.. 6.0... Collapsed #7 intake lifter. Replaced it... Had the head re done... Replaced the VLOM at the same time. Put it all back together and still has a miss. When i start the truck with the valve cover off... The intake valve on CYL 7 works 2-3 times... Then stops cycling. I have good oil pressure... Anybody have an idea?
