  1. Selling a range auto start eliminator. Don’t think it does the afm/Dfm but not sure. asking $110. Shipping included
  2. rather go all the way, and eventually maybe custom tune, when I trade up to the Intune, trinity. the tuner isn’t much more expensive, ignoring shipping costs. So why not?
  3. Running Diablo tune 91-93. Not sure I can say there’s a big power difference but happy to have the tire size adjustment, code read/clear, afm and auto start off. driving in v8 is way different, sound, downshift etc
  4. Have everything in writing. E-mail to service advisor etc. Never know if you’ll need in future…..
  5. How do you figure out the l87 thing?
  6. I’ll prob just pop off the manifold around 50k and look inside. Think 50k is spark plug time anyways?
  7. Awesome that’s the reply I was looking for, actual long term perspective. Thanks for reply
  8. Anyone else have the tpms off a few psi?
  9. While I have the newer gen 6.2 I am wondering how the older 6.2 are doing in terms of intake valves after some miles. Occasionally have a rougher idle but haven’t taken manifold off and looked inside. any buildup on these motors ?
  10. We’ll got it back and plugged it in, few hiccups but all is good now.. the Diablo guys helped get everything sorted out
  11. No idea just called big block 50
  12. If you’re looking for a little noise go with the big block 50 muffler. From the few I installed it was the quietest and also the lowest sound in cab. Remember the flappers also help with the cylinder deactivation noise, so removing them no matter what may increase that sound
  13. Update. Went to flowmaster 40 series with everything intact, cat and resonators still on. Flappers gone. Sounded awesome until I pulled trailer. Wasn’t much Drone but too much noise in cab while towing. 40 was actually pretty quiet and thought it was great until hooking up trailer. Switched out for 50 big block series and it’s perfect. Pretty quiet until you get on pedal. loud on startup, quiets down, and hear just a little while driving until you give it gas. Perfect for me. Spend a lot of time in truck and the sound is just above stock but probably the quietest you can do. If you’re looking for noise it’s not for you, but no drone inside and you can finally hear motor(paired with the CAI).
  14. Sounds like mine. Muffler delete sounds good inside horrible inside.
  15. Agree. It’s honestly horrible, can’t believe so many people are happy with the sound. posted this to hopefully help someone else out. going touring soon. Just worried it’s too quiet. Thoughts? s type seems too loud and touring may be too quiet
  16. How does it sound while cruising around and very light gas? probably going to take safe route and go borla touring. I’m at $100 now, with a new muffler figure another 300+. If I’m still not happy, going to be at near half a borla.
  17. Just got in mail, gotta send computer out and do the whole swap. So not sure yet
  18. Pulled trigger on diablo 7222 - r. Mainly to disble afm/dfm, read codes and change tire size. Kind of wondering if programmers when used with canned tunes can damage engine or lead to premature wear/problems? How safe are these newer programmers assuming you dont go trying to customize a tune? Havent seen much posted on the programmer but i can report back how it works if anyone interested.
  19. after watching a bunch of videos and reading on here, cut the flappers and muffler off. Outside the truck sounds amazing, problem is how loud the cab is, from everything I read and saw online, on the interior, the muffler delete was barely noticable. Not the case at all. Has anyone gone from delete to new muffler? ( big block 50, borla, etc). Think the truck is going to be unbearably loud inside while pulling a trailer. Looking to either put an aftermarket muffler back, or go straight borla touring. Hope someone else avoids the same mistake or at least reads this and realizes how loud it will be inside.
