Adding 12v. in the Cab, fairly easy, Fuse "Add-A-Circuits", from "Littllefuse" and Bussmann". Napa should have these as well. Most of these fuses in the left & right Dash are the "Micro" not "Mini" size. To go the Full Monty.....the 9L7 Upfitter Dash kit is still not available , for the '23/'24 "re-freshed" dash design. This gives the 5 Aux. switches, wire harnesses, fuse block, and dash panel with the cut out for switch block assy. One dealer build & price site, the '24 HD can be factory ordered with the 9L7 option, but is blocked out for Denali etc. I'll add this GM Upfitter Bulletin #153e, dated 6-2-23 FYI. Has the kit #'s. I ordered the GM kit # 84942074, says for push button Ignition. Molded dash lower pad is still for Pre-Refresh dash design. Also Upfitter Bulletin #153p, dated 6-26-23, regarding Rearview Camera, for those that tow & have a cap or camper on the bed, info may help. Will have to send in another post. Here is a better pic of the Bed Slide out I got in '16. Transfer to my '24 very soon. These come in Aluminum or steel. Full or partial extension, and weight capacity. This one steel, full extension, and 2500 lb. capacity.

At my dealer yesterday, they have a '24 AT4X, I got the keys and got her running to see the Android app first hand with my phone in the charger armrest. Yes very handy. But Could not get my Weather Channel app to display on that screen so far in this quick evaluation. I travel extensively for work, so will try to get that app on the GM screen after I have my truck. My '24 said is now loaded on a rail car in Flint, bound for a Jersey dispatch yard. Yea !! Suggestion for bed access for tools etc. Attaching a pic of my '16 HD , with a "Cargo Glide" slide out. Great idea for an easier battery maintainer hookup. Had heck of a time getting to the Neg. Ground stud behind battery at firewall, to hook up my maintainer cable.

Put the 7 Way with 12v. Cigar lighter on the bumper 7 Way for a few hours, with cell phone charger. Power did NOT time out. Also turned on bed lights from dash switch. Timed out after about 10 min.

Another thought on the Trailer/ Camper & 7 Way. Used for a 5th. wheel , pull trailer or slide in truck camper, you would think the bumper or #UY2 7 Way option, factory, dealer or DIY installed, would have 12v to the receptacle for camping rig all the time, and not time out with engine off, like cabin or other exterior lamps.

I have a 7 way to Cigar socket adapter I saved for my new '24 HD, did not put on my temp '18 1500. Going to do it as a test, to see if the 7 Way still has the 12v. with the Ign. key OFF. Perhaps newer GM's "time out" as a battery saver. I did NOT know until today, ALL the 12v. cabin outlets are deleted !! I saw the GM 1-'22 bulletin posted here. This is really a bunch of "Horse & Cow Pies". Really ??? FN rediculous. Now I'll have to hide a dual socket cigar lighter in the Denali console somewhere, and another in the console area facing the rear seat. The truck always has been my mobile office. Always have things charging. New '23-'24 Re-located cell phone charger under center armrest is better, but cannot see it. More distracted driving ? I made a metal bracket to wedge between the console upper intersection to the lower dash for my '16 then '18, for the phone suction cup / charger. In plain sight all the time. Will not work with the re-fresh dash design. Option.....a Weathertech Cup Holder Cell phone mount, or I'll design and make my own again. Love the style of the new design dash, but now finding it's limitations. The elimination of 12v. ports has my blood boiling, for a $$$$ truck.

12 Volt Access in rear of truck bed..... Fastest is to get something like a Hopkins Towing Products # 4765, that plugs into the trailer 7 Way Blade recept., and has a two wire pigtail for 12vdc. Or a Drawtite 7 Way to Cigar lighter adaptor , then a Cigar to 12v two wire pigtail. See all info attached. I had a Cigar male plug that had two threaded Binding posts on it ( Red & Black), to put wires into it. Darn if I can find it or where I bought it years ago. Either way, there is an easy solution to get 12v. power back in the bed area. Long term solution, is to add the GM #UY2 trailer harness kit, that plugs into the factory harness by the spare tire, then mount the 7-Way recpt. in the drivers rear bed pillar post, opposite the 115 vac recpt. on the other side. '23 GM HD options partial lists snapshot. The 7 Way Trailer Harness kit #UY2 is like one included in the #Z6A Gooseneck Prep Pkg. I ordered the Z6A on my '24 2500HD, and it's true, this pkg. includes the 3500HD Frame upgrade, rear springs and 12" axel, to my 2500HD. The #UY2 says not avail with #Z6A, as the Z6A includes a bed mounted 7 Way & 4 pin trailer connector.

What I did on my my 2016 HD, is , add a G.M. UY2 Trailer Wire Provision Kit to the inside Driver side of the Box near tailgate. Can get these factory installed , like I ordered on my '24 HD, yet to be delivered . It is another 7 way trailer connector, like on the Bumper, that has a 30 (or 20) amp 12 volt fused circut available . For now , you can just get a 7 way plug at the parts store (will have a wire diagram) , to get the power you need, Then get the G.M kit , and a hole saw, to poke a hole in the bed verticale post for the kit, for a neat permanent solution. I just looked at the Eibach webisite, and did not see listings for GM 1500 or HD Rear Anti-Roll / Sway Bars. So Hellwig Mfg. is one option ( I have had these for decades on my '73 Dodge Maxi-Van front & rear added, are great), or RoadMaster has several listings for GM HD & 1500 trucks. I will again add the rear Roadmaster bar to my 2024 HD Duramax when it gets here , as I did on my 2016 HD Duramax. It is a 1-1/2" dia. bar.

When did the dealer place your order, and build date for the HD Denali Ultimate ? Mine ordered 3-14-23, built 5-25, still lost in space in transit. Dealer said Tuesday 6-20, still listed in Flint "In Transit". Tracking is frustrating.

Body Roll.......The GM 1500 & HD trucks do NOT offer a Rear Say Bar as an option ( Only 3500HD DRW Chassis Cabs I have seen come with them). I had a '16 2500HD Duramax Denali. was NOT pleased with handling , with a Fiberglass cap, Bed Slide out and my tools. I found 1-1/2" dia. Roadmaster Rear Sway bar kits on e-Trailer.com, as well as Firestone 3500 lb. rear air bags, and Bilstien series 5600 shocks. Installed these and Holy XXXX Batman, drove like it was on rails. 3200 miles later, was in middle of a multi vehicle pileup ....... Insurance totaled it wit 62k mi. on her. I saved these suspension upgrades to put on Craig's List and e-bay. Will fit a '11 to '18 2500 or 3500 HD. Awaiting my 2024 2500HD Denali Duramax. Built on May 25 in Flint. Still shows,"In Transit". FYI : I already have a new Roadmaster Rear Swaybar to put on the '24 when she arrives. Sounds like the Rancho's on it will be going into my metal re-cycle 55 gal. drum soon. I loved the Bilstien's, but will look into the Eiback, Fox and Ride-Tech by Fox. Thanks...AutoMall has a better handle on GM shipments than my dealer. They have a good HD inventory of '24's so early !!

That is a Sweet Package !! Enjoy !!!! FYI: Look into a 1.50" dia. Roadmaster Rear Sway Bar aftermarket kit . That and a Firestone 3,500 lb. Air Bag kit. Put these on my '16 HD Duramax Denali. Dove like a sports car with heavy loads. Kept 25 psi. in the air bags. Never bottomed out. High side winds no longer an issue. Put huge Caspro sway bars front & rear on my '73 26' GMC Motorhome. Anthony , I have a 2500 HD sitting in Flint also, built on 5-25, awaiting on transport to Brustolon GMC, Mystic, Ct. Ours could be on the same transport to get here to Ct., when they move out of Flint ?? My dealer still says in Flint as of this am. Please post any ship update , and I will as well.

Congrats !! Seeing your order & delivery timeline gives me an idea when to expect my Denali Ultimate 2500. All I last know, mine is built in Flint on 5-25, Status as of last week still says "In Transit", but dealer said still is on lot in Flint.

Bill ; Any update on your order ? My Denanli Ultimate 2500 Std. Box, Duramax , was ordered 3-14-23, built in Flint 5-25, have PDF window sticker, dealer website says "In Transit", and sales staff is all they know as well as of last Friday. Said GM order site only update/ re-freshes weekly. KP.
