  1. The Axxess AXDSPX-ETH1 is one solution to bypass factory bose amp. Has a dsp for all channels and lets u control chimes, etc.
  2. That's a great idea. I woukd think the Pioneer speakers woukd be more go higher and sound brighter.
  3. You can hear the highs? The tweeter works?
  4. I do have the Bose system. A friend said the tweeter on the Pioneer dash speakers don't play. He bought two sets. Returned both.
  5. You need a midrange tweeter in the dash. Did u get everything installed? If yes...how does it perform?
  6. Anyone compare the Pioneer TS-A709 with the Kenwood dash speakers?
  7. I just ordered the Pioneer Dash Speakers. Pioneer TS-A709. Did you ever get a chance to hear the Kenwood's? Did u replace any other speakers? Going to add an active sub and do a full install later on.
  8. Anyone try Pioneer TS-A709 for dash speakers? They look interesting.
  9. I have a 23 Silverado ltz with Bose and big screen I have speakers from an old truck for front, rear doors and dash. Is it a worth while upgrade to replace stock bose speakers with my Hertz speakers which are 4ohm and very efficient, 92 db with stock amp. My installer is waiting for a harness to add a 6 channel amp? Would this improve sound? Would I lose any chimes, etc? Would things sound distorted? I also wanted to disconnect factory sub and add a kicker mono amp and sub? I want to run the sub from 25hz to 250hz. Installer was going to take signal from back door, run it into kicker keyloc and then amplifier. Thanks.
  10. My installer is waiting for an amp Bose harness for my 23 Silverado. it allows him to adjust the chimes, etc. Anyway, I am getting a subwoofer install until the harness starts shipping again which may be in February. For now I would like to replace the dash speakers but not sure about sensitivity. I was told that I can get a 3.5" speakers in the dash. The stock speaker plays from 200hz to 20k. Insane for such a small speaker. Anyone have any ideas on sensitivity? I will eventually use my 6x9 Hertz Millie speakers in the front doors and Hertz in the rear. They are very sensitive at 94spl. If I get dash speakers with that sensitive it my really play too loud. I guess I could use the fader to tame them down. My other alternative is to just wait for the full install. Any thoughts?
  11. I was told that the front door speakers in a refresh Bose Silverado cut off at 5k. Also: sub is 35-70hz, Doors: 40hz to 5k, rears: 200hz to 15k. It's very strange.
  12. I have a 2023 Silverado LTZ, 4wd. I want to keep the stock height all around. I ordered 6112 struts for the front of my truck - had to resort to Ebay. . When I go on vacation I might have a two hundred pounds in the back but most times the bed is empty. Would I want a stiff shock like the 5100's or a softer shock like the Fox 2.0 for the rears? Is there any mods I can do to make the truck ride as smooth as possible. I don't take the truck off-road but maybe a few logging roads here and there. I do spend time on gravel and have ok roads where I live. I also found these articulating brackets for our leaf springs. What do you guys think?
  13. I just ordered a pair of 6112's for a 23 Silverado 4wd. I hope to god I don't have any issues. These shocks are very hard to find but the price point is very good.
  14. I have a 2023 Silverado LTZ & Z71 package. The ride is OK and I live on a mountain with lots of curvy roads and would like a smoother pavement ride and less body roll. I'm running 20" Wrangler Trail Runner tires. I was thinking of replacing the stock Rancho shocks with Bilstein 5100's or Fox 2.0 shocks. From what I read the 5100's are stiffer and reduce body roll but the Fox shocks are better off road (do very little) and have a softer ride with more body roll. I have les than 1k miles on the truck. Does this sound like I would gain much from the swap? Any preference on shocks? Does anyone know if Chevy gives us a sway bar?
