Ok so I have the same issue with an 06 Silverado 1500 4wd with 6 inch lift.. I have changed both oil sensors, the valve cover gasket, the rear main seal, the oil pan gasket then the oil pan itself, intake gaskets, oil lines, even the whole motor .yes that's right I swapped engines.. imagine my surprise to go out there the next day to find a puddle of oil. I'm talking I buy a gallon of oil every two days.. this has been going on for over a year.. I have had multiple people try to find it including a mechanic or two.. the knock sensors had been changed also..and plugs/wires. I'm literally at wits end trying to find this.. I have more oil under my truck than in it most times. The most recent answer was the rear main seal so I bought and changed it and what was once a bad leak has become an extreme oil leak.it leaks when it's running, it leaks when it's not running.. and now the motor has a vacuum on the crankcase.. a strong one.. any suggestions?
