Encountered this refresh change as well when 433mhz sensors would not learn but could be read just fine. The post electrical refresh sensors are cheaper from GM OEM. It is going to be confusing as they use the same frequency unlike the previous change.

If you have the snowplow prep package it deletes the shutters and adds what they now call the winter front. They used to trim and form the winter fronts for the grill and bumper but now you just get a piece of black vinyl that hooks into the grill.

Well google owns android auto and they choose to include waze (which they also own) as their map routing of choice. GM does offer a basic maps app. You can use the android GMC app to customize the apps installed. Open the app, pick more, remote personalization, apps, and switch on/off what you want, then save changes.

I know what you mean with the variety of clips and directions you need to pull to get things apart. I haven't found any pdf or website and have relied on youtube videos. There are a number of dash and console mods showing teardowns. Having some teardown docs would be a great idea.

Does the beacon require more than 1/2A power? Then probably not. Most beacon's require 30-60W which is going to be over 3A.

After reviewing these unless you get the manual either of these will prevent the innergate latch release when the plug is inserted. If you have a plug w/o pin to trigger the tailgate fix it might work too. Couple of thoughts on the Curt model (1) cut the decorative plug off and use trim adhesive to attach it over the curt cover or (2) install a magnet on the back of the decorative plug same as the curt cover to allow the inner gate operation with the plug installed.

Stoney Field Farms posted a great idea to use a 7pin trailer plug to allow a quick connector to a regular battery charger. This BatteryTender is overkill but works great. You can use about a 6amp charger/maintainer for your battery type.
