I only went up ~3.5" (including tires) and kept a little rake, nowhere near 10" and 37s. I haven't unloaded the old tires from the bed yet, hopefully that makes it happy.
Lol same, I wouldn't want to go back, but damn...I really like that feature. Stupid computers.
@2022LiftedRST Did you get any resolution to this? The dealer installed my leveling kit today and I noticed the same thing - no guidelines, disabled button for them, and the hourglass. Going to call tomorrow and see if they messed with any calibration, I can’t imagine that it can detect that it’s sitting a few inches higher. It’s a pickup, loading the bed or towing could just as easily affect its angle!
I may have something similar on my 22 refresh w/ power seats. I had it looked at last time I was in for service and they couldn't find anything. I'd written it off to me being a rather large/heavy human being and that perhaps it isn't the seat moving but something under the cushion like the safety vibrator or seat cooler.
Would love for there to be an actual resolution, it's one of the few annoyances with this truck.
Maybe it's a setting? I didn't change anything when I got it back from the dealer after the retrofit. Or maybe it's only my small garage that gets close enough to trigger it.
Looks good!
Did you get the threaded/adjustable coilovers that come with springs or the clip coilovers that reuse the stock spring? How's the ride? I've been eyeing either these or the Eibachs with with a Deaver mini-pack in the rear.
I don't use anything other than CarPlay so I had no idea it affected every source! I always figured it was when my phone was switching connections as I drove away from the house. If it's more widespread hopefully it's something an OTA can fix.
Not bolt-on, but I just picked these up last month and love the look. Wesdon seems to have some bolt-on options as well, but the dual 4" exits really fill out the HDMI ports nicely. I had mine installed for $380 along with replacing the muffler & flapper at my local shop. I left the resonator screens intact and there's zero drone.
Do you have a link to the tips? These are the exact look I've been searching for, but there's quite a few options on Wesdon's site. Did you get weld on or clamp on? Looks like the stock pipe behind the factory tips takes a little down-turn at its tip, did these fit on that or did you have to modify the end of the stock pipes?
Did you remove the flapper valve too? Seems like all these $100-ish delete pipes are too short, I wonder if there’s anything special about them vs going to a local shop and have them weld a pipe in.
