    Amcguy1970 I don’t think the off-road package has more cameras but the trailering package most definitely has more cameras. X31 is an off road package and trim of SLT.

    Anyone out there that has similar truck that has a trailering package? I thought i could scroll through the camera views while driving. Now after the truck gets up to 8-10mph the cameras are unavailable. Am i crazy is that the way they work. Dealer say that the way it works. I don’t believe it

    I took the truck to the dealer and they replaced part 84488395 went home and tested, No more failures!!!! I haven’t road tested but I am sure it will work because it would fail right away.

    I am going to take truck in next week with the same fix replacement controller. I gave them the part number through this message board, let's hope that it works and we can all move on from this most unfortunate situation.

    I have passed the part number to my dealer to see if it's the same for my truck. my dealer is helpful and hoping to get it fixed as much as me.

    I got a call from GM and they are buying my truck back. They don’t want to replace it because they have no idea what is causing it and they don’t want me to be stuck with the same issue. So i will now look for a different vehicle. Not look forward to that.

    I started a complaint with BBB and 2 days later i got a call back from GM, we have started the process to buy back or replacement option. I will keep updating as i know more.

    Just got off the phone with my local GMC dealer and was told they cant fix the issue and GM is working on a fix. NO TIME frame for fix. We already knew this but now it’s documented and hopefully the fix will be soon . I did email GM demanding a buy back ASAP.

    Ok battery replacement doesn’t make the problem go away still have the trailer breaking error.

    I have the same issue with the trailer breaks not the camera. I have anew 2022 sierra and i took it in yesterday and was told that they are working on resolving the problem. The dealer did say that the battery was showing low voltage and that could be the cause 50/50. They replaced the battery and I will pick it up and find out it that was the issue.
