Ribalfire

Hi all, Running into a little issue with my 05 Silverado with the 5.3. Occasionally the oil pressure gauge will drop to 0. It will sometimes return to normal if I stop/start the truck or let it sit. When this occur I do not get any dash messages and no unusual sounds occur. I have driven it for minutes like this with no issues. I keep up with oil/filter changes. It's random when this occurs but usually happens when car is fully warm and has been driving a while. My suspicions are the sensor or the stepper motor. Anyone have experience with this? Normal driving oil pressure it between 40-60.
