  1. Someone please help me / give me some advice....... I have a 2018 tahoe 70K miles ... 7inch FTS Lift, 35s mud tires , 22rims I lifted it and put 456 Yukon gears in it... Now when I am driving the truck is making a howling / backsplash sound.... I'm not getting shakes/vibration with the truck that I can tell... its just a strange howling/back splash sound at certain speed/ deceleration.... Has anyone had this issue.... I cant seem to figure out what it is... Drive shaft? pinion angle? any thoughts would be really helpful
  2. I have a 2018 tahoe 6.2L with 10 speed 4wheel drive. I put a 7 inch lift on the truck and running 35s. I had a master Yukon installer, install the 456 swap front and rear into my Tahoe, but for some reason the shop can’t seem to found out why when I drive the truck and get to around 50 miles an hour and let off the gas it start making like a grinding / splashing sound. It’s loud, the shop has broken down two different times and re-did the installation but still having the same issues!!! Can some one please help me this have been 6k and a month later I still don’t have my truck!!! added list of parts from Yukon that’s was put into truck

  4. Stan - Thanks for your information... I Guess I thought re-gearing it to 456 would help the moto and transmission last longer.... Is this not the case? Just don't know much about the reliability of 6.2 and 10 speed trans.... The Yukon gears/Job price is 5,800, just trying to figure out if its worth it... the tahoe has 70k miles. Would love to get 155K miles out of it with out Trans or motor issues ... is the reason I was thinking about doing this.
  5. I have a question. I have a 6.2 Tahoe with 308 gears, I am thinking about swaping gears to a 4.56.... I have a 7 inch lift, 22rims, with 35 mudd tires.... Can anyone give me there thoughts on this or if its worth it... The tahoe has a 10 speed trans.... I am really only doing it to protect the trans and motor as much as possible, just because I dont think they making trucks/suvs like they use... Am I wrong? pros and cons with going to 4.56 on a 6.2 with 10 speed trans??????
