  2. Yes! Love crutchfield. My truck sounds 100 percent better
  3. No I didn’t read it all, still good info for someone. Thanks
  4. No get them when you order your speakers from crutchfield. The dash coner speakers do not need them , they drop right in place. The front and rear door will need the speaker brackets and will ask you if you need them when you check out . Also you will need the speaker harness I posted above for dash corner speakers . The speaker harnesses for front and rear door , you are asked when you check out if you need them. Get them they do not come included with the speakers.
  5. With your key off use test light to find B+ on both side of a fuse this will be your power all the time. Next up your test light to find B+ when you turn the power on. This fuse will have power on one side but not the other side, until you turn on the key . Then it will have power on both sides of the fuse. Your ground will be to any good metal surface that is under your dash or around the fuse box. And the you ready to go. I would use a add a circuit to both B+ use the same amp fuse that was originally in that spot
  6. These are the fuses used in your truck
  7. Dash speaker harness metra 72-4573 fits the front dash Conner speakers perfectly.

  16. Take the in line cross over out and you will be fine . I have the same speakers in my dash I didn’t use the crossovers and it works great
  17. Take out the online crossover on the dash speakers and you should be fine. I have the same speaker in the dash as your and I didn’t use the crossover or bypass and they work fine.
  18. Yes take this to a dealership. This is not as simple as it seems. There are a lot of other systems involved in the wiring with the brake controller and modules. This could be a huge problem. This is a dealership problem!
  19. No call gm customer service!!!! This has been a problem with them. No this is their problem!!!! Also look up the Lemmon law in your state. Send a certified letter to Gm customer service!!!! This is all under warranty! Even if it leaked out all under the vehicle…. Still their problem!!!! Gm customer care monitors these boards!!! Hey GM WHERE ARE YOU! I’m a tech snd I worked for GM for many years!!!! Send them a certified letter explaining this situation!!!!! Google the customer care for the address!! Keep me informed!!!
  20. Kari bannister do this with GM customer service. When they get involved it pushes dealerships to do things right . Also this might help with a recall abd maybe reimbursement.
  21. These have been know to cause problems in the older automatic transfer cases when I worked for GM. Yeah that could definitely cause this problem
