  1. No I wish I had tried the kenwoods kfc 2. There are good skeakers and some of the other members on here use them and love them. I got a great deal on the pioneers and I like pioneer, so I went with it. I replaced the door speakers with a kenwood 6x9 from crutchfield. KFC-6966s, pioneers for dash were a TSA-706. Rear door speakers come I installed Polk DB-652. You will need the speaker adapter brackets and harness connectors for speakers. They all came from crutchfield at no extra cost if you biy the speakers from them. And they send a pdf on how to remove and install everyone of the speakers and amp and subwoofer to help all free. I posted that pdf on her for everybody to use in case you needed it . Best of luck, feel free to reach out to me if you need help with your wiring! Mshawn
  2. That would be great! The one plastic one I wish it was aluminum!
  3. Now that is some great work!!!!
  4. Where did you get the black badging? Love the before and after pics. Truck looks awesome!
  5. Brotha that truck looks awesome. Love the stance!!!!!
  6. Thank you! Mine is a 5.3 and yes it has the same as yours. I went to Chevrolet today to warranty my drivers side mirror, it would shake ( the mirror part not the housing), so bad you can’t see out of it at 70mph. I went in to check and see what skid plates on there, metal or plastic. The front piece was plastic and I thought it should be aluminum. I went to see if there was an aluminum one I can switch out. I will find one or build one in my shop. Thanks again for the answer, now I know it’s not just mine.
  7. The 3 leg fuse add a circuit in the pic is part number FH3020A3P from the hi line web site www.hi-line.com
  8. These are the two fuses used in my 2023 Silverado rst the add a circuits are in the picture and come from hi line. One of the pictures is the part number for the micro fuse. The triple leg fuse I’ll have to look up the part number for it and post it. These are also used in the Tahoes and Yukons
  9. No because another member on here it cause a communication error with the radio control module. Sounds a lot better though. Without the bass blocker I’ve had no trouble with the volume of the chimes
  10. I’ve noticed that too. In sport mode it’s a lot more responsive. Thanks for bringing that up
  11. Work and back is 80+ miles for me and I’m getting 22-23 consistently with my 5.3 and I’m a crew cab z71 5.3 L84 all interstate though.
  12. The 2.7turbo is a great motor, however I buy the 5.3. I love it. The more I drive it the more responsive it gets. A lot of the lag is due to fuel management and driveline protection ,But it learns as you drive it. You will always have a little bit of lag in the new trucks. Doing a dfm delete helps a lot. I notice when I drive mine more aggressively that the next time I get in to go somewhere it is very responsive and aggressive for a little bit while I’m driving normal. Can’t go wrong with either engine though. The 2.7 turbo is a beast , well built engine in my opinion.
  13. I have a 2023 Silverado RST z71 and was wondering what skid plates are suppose to be on it. It has the NZZ rpo code also. Is there one that covers the bottom of the engine? I know I’ve go the one for the transfer case I can see it, but nothing else. Is it like this on trucks that you guys own on here. I was wondering was something left off my truck or is that the way it is suppose to be.
  14. The fuel door. It doesn’t happen when I go through the automatic car was.
  15. I have a 2023 RST z71 and this doesn’t happen to my truck. I don’t think that is right so I would open a complaint with gm.
  16. What trouble with the after treatment have you had? Warranty or not warranty?
  17. In light of the strike also which is a huge setback
  18. Numerous post on here about the radios in these things. Most are getting better quality from speaker changes on here. I own 2023 RST with bose and wow it was muffled…. My kids “speak and Spell from 1992 sounded better. I changed out dash coner speakers. Crutchfield pioneers 59.99 made it come alive. Front door speakers kenwoods .wow what a difference. Very easy to change they were 69.99 from crutchfield. The rear door speakers do not deliver much as far as sound or decimals in sound but I changed them to Polk 99.00 from crutchfield. I had them laying around from another stero build so I used them . I would not have replaced them if I knew that it was no help, not much power being sent to rear doors. They say the front speakers don’t have wiring harness connectors but I ordered metra 72-4573 and they worked great, so DO NOT cut your factory harness ends off. I hope this helps. Hit me back if you need to know more.
  19. Ah thank you. I’m going to change it over to AMSOIL shortly
  20. Noticed any difference in the way it shifts? Guys over at the ford forum( 10r80) says it messes with the shifting because of the viscosity rating. I like amsoil product and I’m going to change everything I’ve to amsoil in my 2023 RST
