  1. New brake controller arrived today. Bringing the truck in next week for install and re-programming. Shocked that it took only 5 days to get here.
  2. Brought the truck in for its first oil change (complementary) and told the dealer about the brake controller issue when towing our travel trailer. They've ordered a new updated brake controller. No commitment to when it will arrive sue to the strike.
  3. This is true but, it does not charge with a high enough voltage (14.6-.8) volts to fully equalize a LiFePo4 battery(s) which is important for long battery life. You need a LiFePo4 enabled solar charge controller or a proper DC converter to get to the required voltage.
  4. We just got back from a 4200mi trip towing our travel trailer and at night, the headlights were essentially useless if not downright dangerous. Many times I had to run with the high beams on and that didn't help all that much. Any suggestions on upgrading the halogen bulbs?
  5. Got ours today. Display said the update would take 15 minutes and not to do anything with the truck. Leave it turned off and don't lock the doors. Came back 16 mins later and the update had completed. I verified it in update history. So far so good. Cryptic explanation to what the update actually did.

  7. Did anyone figure out how to tighten up the 7/4 pin mount in the bumper. Ours is very loose. Scary loose.
  8. Yup. Plugged in to our new camp trailer yesterday and got the 'check trailer wiring' alert. Turned off the solar panels and all systems normal. The situation is completely unacceptable. I bought a Silverado to tow trailers that charge batteries going down the road, not have dead batteries when we arrive. Fix it GM.
  9. Very stiff. The column gear shifter is also very stiff on my truck.
