Yesterday evening I had the truck in "Auto" mode (advanced 4WD system) and a message came up saying "Service 4WD", then the auto logo changed with an X behind it. I couldn't really tell if it put the truck back into 2HI or not.
2023 GMC Sierra Pro 2.7 TurboMax.
Anyone have this happen before?
This morning driving into work everything seemed back to normal. I put it in 2wd and haven't tried Auto or 4HI yet today
So they replaced the air shutter, took it for a test drive and the check engine light came back on.
Now they are getting a new code relating to temperature sensor. They told me they had to order a new ECM. They got one in, tried installing it, said they were unable to program it because it was defective, so ordered another one.
Is this legit or do they not know what they are doing?
So i finally got the truck in for the check engine light. they replaced the air shutter, took it for a test drive, and the engine light came back on. They called and said its pulling a different code now (relating to temperature sensor) saying the truck thinks it is -40 degrees outside.
All I gotta say is... ???
This is my first GM vehicle since 2003. My last vehicle was a Hyundai Tucson that never had these kind of issues 21,000kms in.
When i turn the truck off it does sound like the fan was running hard as I can hear it power down more than I normally would. Makes sense.
Considering the amount of rain storms I've been driving through lately maybe it is water related.
I'm glad it is just this. When the check engine light came on my first thought was "this truck isn't even a year old whats happening?".
The light has come back on and stayed on for the last few days. I can't bring it in to the dealer until the 29th, but I put a code reader on it and got: U0285 (lost communication with active grille air shutter actuator 2)
Yesterday the check engine light came on (2023 Sierra 2.7 Turbomax). No info from truck or GM app. All seemed fine. Ran fine, no issues. This morning the light is no longer on.
I did a google search and it says this can happen on these engines and its due to a loose wiring connection to the transmission. Anyone come across this?
Thank you. I used the chat option for GMC support on the app and an agent said to sign out/force stop the app on phone,, uninstall, reinstall. Problem now cleared. Haven't tried to start it yet though.
2023 GMC Sierra Pro 2.7
I tried starting the truck with the MyGMC app this morning (has worked many times before) but it did not work and for hours now the button to start is stuck on "Sending" and is grayed out and you can't do anything.
Have restarted app and phone and truck was started and stopped manually but the app remains the same.
Anyone have this problem? Will the app eventually free itself?
Hey all, new to forums.
I leased a 2023 GMC Sierra Pro (Graphite edition) 2.7 TurboMAX back in June. LOVING the truck so far. Been reading the forums for a while and finally decided to sign up!
