  1. Guys, I appreciate your replies. I learned that the label on the driver's side door jam has a QR code. Scanning this code gave my truck's RPO codes. I guess you can teach an old dog a new trick!
  2. When I search my VIN it pulls up all of the info less the transmission. My scanner ask me to select which RPO "Type" trans I have. Where might I find this? These are my choices: MHS MHT M12 MQB MQC
  3. Did it always do this or is it a new noise? Does it happen every time it is shutdown? What happens if you start it for just a few minutes and shutdown, does it still make the noise? Any codes?
  4. About two weeks ago I purchased from Amazon the Launch CPR129X scanner. If you are looking for a scanner for your own use, this might be a good choice. The price varies on Amazon. I've seen just below $200 to around $240. It gives a lot of information and the firmware comes with a free lifetime update. The scanner also connects to wifi and allows it to download updates. It also has a "Mall", Store, that you can purchase add on functions. I purchased the add on for GM vehicles that adds more function. This was an added $34 purchase on the Mall off the scanner. The add on features are only good for one year.
  5. I appreciate your reply. I have the same issue as you and many others. I don't know if it is the app, or the way data is given from the vehicle. It would be nice if GM would fix it, but I won't hold my breath. My bigger issue is the wrong reporting DEF level. Dealership did a reset and data dump. This seems to have corrected the panel warnings, but the DEF level still shows less than what is really in the tank.
  6. redwngr, Did you ever find an answer to your DEF issues? I just posted the thread about mine. I have just about the same mileage as you did when you posted your thread.
  7. Vehicle Details 2023 GMC Sierra Denali with a LZ0 3.0L Duramax Diesel. It has 7,300 miles in total. Issue DEF Level indicator not reporting proper fluid level. At startup, with DEF tank full, the center dash display shows “DEF Range 200 mi”. If the level drops by one gallon below full, the display shows “DEF Level Empty” and you can not use any of the other center dash displays. It locks the display and only shows “DEF Level Empty”. Appointment With Dealer After arriving for my appointment and explaining the above for the second time, 1 hour and 20 minutes, they said I was all set. They didn’t perform SB # 22-NA-150. They reset the DEF system and cleared its data. This seems to have corrected the issue, but I’m not confident that this is a long-term solution. The DEF level indicator still is reading less than full when the tank is, like it will show no higher than ¾ full. Anyone else having this issue? Any long term fix?
