2015 Silverado 5.3 2wd Looking for some info on swapping the original 6L80 to a 6L90. What types of issues would I encounter?

Same question but what about to a 2018 6L90, is it worth it? I’ve heard you need drive shaft work but is it programable?

Hi, does anyone know if I can replace a 2015 Silverado 6L80 with a 2018 6l80? The 18 transmission also comes with the original TCM. Any help is appreciated. Thanks 2015 Silverado 5.3 6l80.
