  1. I have a 32Gig thumb drive with about 3000 songs I use plugged into the console USB outlet. It plays all my mp3 files great. The complaint I have is it won't recognize genre. Only albums, songs, etc. It's Ok though, the music is in folders(60s,70s,80s, etc.) so it just shuffles through them all. Can always hit the NEXT button on the steering wheel.
  2. Bought mine like you are talking about. A guy wanted an Ultimate Denali, but liked the SLT wheels and tires better, so they changed them out. I bought this truck because it had the Denali 22's.....among lots of other things.
  3. Just did 20 hrs in my 24 SLT. Very few stops. Best I have ever had.
  4. Anybody have suggestions about how to arrange and label mp3 files to be read as "Playlist". i have about 3000 songs on thumb drive labeled as 60s, 70s, 80s like XM does. Each song file is labeled in the meta data as well as folders labeled. On my previous vehicles, I could choose genre or "folder" to play what I wanted. On this truck, only options are songs, artists, albums, playlist. I relabeled my folders as Playlist 70s etc., .......still won't recognize any playlist.
  5. Hello all, Lenny here from outside New Orleans in Hammond,La. Feels strange, at 67 to own my first full sized GM truck. Had my last F150 for 8 years, This new 2024 Sierra SLT 5.3/W31 is a Cadillac compared to a Carolla. Looks like a lot to learn, but so far......pretty easy.
  6. For me, MP3 on my thumb drive sound best. Easy to switch to next song with buttons on back side of steering wheel. XM is OK, but sound quality is lower.
