Just changed my tow mirror to the small mirror. Plain mirror just power adjust and heated. Plugged the right side with the sensor in it started the truck and everything seemed to work fine. I went ahead and changed the left one, started the truck and the temp read -40 and my check engine light was on . I unhooked the battery for a little while and now everything seems to be fine. Drove it a few times now and it seems to be fine. Is this normal, I'm assuming it just needed a reboot.

Finally got My mirrors. Tried the right one with the sensor first, started truck a couple times, seemed to be working temp, Adjust. So went ahead and changed the other side. Started truck Temp said -40 and the check engine light was on. Started it a few times and same thing. Unhooked the battery for a few minutes and everything seems fine now. Does this sound normal?

I don't want to be a pain. Is the wiring harness going to be the same on both trucks? Is there any place I can check with both Vin numbers?

Will the passenger side will have the temperature sensor in it as well ?

Blinker too

No just power adjust, heat and blinker

I did order it that way in 2022. When the dealer reordered it as a 24 they ordered it wrong. The only options are heated and power adjust.

Looking to switch from the larger tow mirrors to the small mirror. Is it even possible?
