I was considering buying a 2022 RST, LTD with 66,000 miles on 5.3 engine. It ran smooth and ran like a normal 5.3 without programming. But after researching changed my mind because of the problems associated with this engine I would have to purchase a warranty and make a payment on the truck. If the engine fail I may have to wait for months for parts, pay additional funds because warranties don't fully cover everything it take to fully restore or replace a ruined engine. This is what I gather from researching this issue. Was my assessment over reaction or on point about how you guys see the situation and would you buy a used 22 GMC/Chevy truck with this engine outside of the warranty today.
