So yea guys the factory highs suck in theses trucks... im replacing all dash n doors speakers... i have 2 8inch skar zvx with a skar RP 2000.1M class D under back seats facing towards the back of the truck... i custom built box myself but it does stick out past the seat a little... ( cause skar recommend 1.25 cf per woofer) and most boxes you see out there for under the seat never have more than 1.5 total for both subs 8, 10, 12's.... and the box is still not 2.5 but adding polyester inside box makes huge difference as well....but i swear u would think this was a suv or i have a blow thru... never in my life have i ever heard or felt 2 8" woofers move so much air.... and i was skeptic about buying some skars just cause the price... but im tell you im very impressed... ive been in spl for almost 30yrs ..i have had everything every brand every amp every size speaker.. if ur looking for some rumble check out the skar zvx 8's...and they are cheap.. no more than 200.00 a sub...
