  1. Hey guys, I'm back with another very exciting feature to reveal. It's been requested by many of you that I release a Video in Motion mod for the 2.5HMI for quite some time now. Well, I'm happy to say I've finally cracked it and I'm happy to offer this service for the loyal viewers of this forum. First of all, let's talk basics. If you have a 2014-2016 you'll notice you can play video but only while in park. And if you have a 2017 or a 2018 GM vehicle you'll notice you cannot play video at all! Well, I have solved this problem with a 2 for 1 solution. Regardless of your year between 2014-2018, I am happy to offer Video in Motion and Video Enabling for ALL 2014-2018 GM models Please, do not hesitate to contact me if you'd like this done. Special forum pricing will be given as a thank you towards everyone who has supported me and has encouraged me along the way. I would not have been able to do this without you guys. Thanks for putting your faith in me. Enjoy the demo, and like always, if you're interested - send me a PM. Until next time... -Mag *Edit* - For those of you who are curious, this allows videos to be played through USB. We will be adding other input options in the future. This will also allow full navigation controls in nav as well as texting and keyboard use which is usually restricted while driving. And this should be a given but this is for off-road or passenger use only. Please let me know if you have any more questions!
  2. Ok, something just started happening with our 2016 GMC 2500HD Denali 4x4 with the diesel. The remote door lock and unlock won't work every time from either of our fobs. We bought this truck last August so I can't imagine the batteries in both of our fobs have died at the exact same time and only 7 months in. My fob gets used the most with my wife's fob barely getting used at all. Anyone else experience/experiencing this? And, what did you do to remedy it? I guess we can try replacing batteries first, but batteries only lasting 7 months in a fob? And both failing at the same time, especially given one gets frequent use and one barely gets any use. We know it's not a fuse because it does work from time to time.
  3. Hey guys, Hoping to get some input on this as its a little frustrating. My key fob and lock and unlock button on the drivers door do not work at all. I have an 09 Sierra, and have already replaced the lock button as that was the easiest piece to eliminate. There is power to the button, and when i push both the lock and unlock buttons i can hear clicking from the secondary fuse panel. Someone has suggested that i check out the relay, but i am unable to locate and find said relay. All the fuses have been checked and rechecked, and are all in good shape. Dont really want to take it to a shop for this as i can likely do it myself. Thanks in advance Elyse
  4. Hello everyone, I just bought this used 06 Duramax 2500hd crew cab. So the guy that had this truck before me put a screw through the harness going through the driver door towards the bottom that runs all the lock/unlock door open windows etc. Etc. The window controls on the driver side work, but not the door lock/unlock. The passenger lock/unlock works, and driver rear door power lock does not work at all.. the guy that put the system in re-spliced the wires but it's still not working. He thinks either the control module got semi-fried, or the buttons in the door got semi-fried because he said lock/windows/and mirror controls are all one unit with it's own little computer. If anyone has any tips on how to trouble shoot this I would be very appreciative, and also any idea on where to get a newer looking driver door interior panel because all the clips to hold the bottom it were broken off and replaced with, you guessed it, a screw! It's the tan interior, other that that the thing looks almost new. Thank you in advance for the help!!

  6. Members just wanted to pass along another Hot Sale item. Keyless Entry Keypad Here is the information from GM: "This Keyless Entry System features a keypad that allows you to lock/unlock your vehicle using a five-digit PIN rather than a key or a key fob. Must be equipped with factory Remote Keyless Entry." Personal note, after coming from my F150 a few years ago, this is one of the items I personally never realized how much I used until I did not have it. Nice to be able to lock/unlock the truck at times when you don't have your keys handy. Only bad news, this only fits the 2017's and up..... From my understanding, they are trying to see what needs to be done to make them work with the 15 and 16's as well..... Limited time price $92.00 shipped to most places in the US Let me know if anyone is interested. Bobby
  7. You've been asking and we've been listening, I'm proud to announce that we have native in unit support now for not only rear camera in motion but also the ability to now add a switchable front camera in motion as well; all utilizing factory hardware! This was the plan from the beginning however we had originally intended to make an interface box to make all of this happen but were able to work around that to the point it was no longer necessary. Front camera will obviously still require the addition of a camera and wiring etc but it is now possible without any sort of aftermarket interface to worry about. Those of you with fifth wheels may choose to make this a bed camera as well, the options really are endless here. We also added a new set of guidelines as well, so now you have three options: 1. No Guidelines 2. Traditional Moving Boxed Guidelines 3. Minimalist single moving guideline Switching between the two modes can be done on the camera screen using the icons at the bottom. This feature will be included on all future 2016 unlock orders as well as any CarPlay upgrades that opt for the unlock. So not only do you get our famous unlock that removes the in motion locks from the HMI vehicle side controls for video in motion from USB/SD, additional movie formats as well as video in motion from DVD/BluRay and nav entry etc etc but you also get factory camera control as an additional bonus! Those of you who have already purchased the unlock for your 2016 or have purchased a CarPlay with the unlock will need to work out the best way to upgrade your system with Anthony as this is a completely different setup software wise. For more information please TEXT Anthony at 919-995-9523
  8. I recently bought a 2008 Chevy Silverado with manual windows and locks. I notice when the doors are locked and i pull the interior door handle, the door does not unlock. This is kind of annoying. Is there a mod to the door handle that changes this? Thanks!
  9. I have a 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 with remote keyless entry. My neighbor has another GM car. His remote keyless entry can unlock my doors. I would like to disable my keyless entry so no remote can open my doors.
