    Years ago I had to replace a couple stepper motors in my 2003 1500HD instrument panel. I ordered a kit from the Speedometer Repair Guy in MN. Recently sold the truck and found that I had remaining three new stepper motors, nine bulbs, and the instructions still in a drawer in my garage. They should fit 2003 to 2006 GM clusters. Would like to see these go to someone who could use them. So, these are FREE to anyone in the Twin Cities area who can pick them up from me in Blaine, a suburb north of Minneapolis.     Had to do some fancy cutting to make the lid fit next to the window washer tank, but with patience it can be done. Added some extra vertical cuts in the lid sides too so it will slide under the fender brace. Likely not water/snow proof, to the extent any such moisture were to get under the hood, but that is probably not too likely. Good luck.

    I did this on my 17 Sierra. Store jumper cables and some gloves in the box. Room for more. Nice not having the cables under the back seat. Good luck.

    Added a handy switch to the back of my 17 Sierra to allow me to turn on and off the box lights from the rear instead of only having the switch inside the cab. Very sweet mod.
