I have a 24 HD and currently on a cross country trip w my travel trailer. No solar on my rig and it has been disconnecting off and on for the last few weeks. Replaced the trailer plug and no change. It would disconnect as soon as we took off in the morning and some days it wouldn’t do it. Strange and dangerous as it would sometimes disconnect going down hill to a stop. I stopped at a dealer in Kansas who seems to believe that the new trucks send a 12v pulse every second to the trailer and believes that is the problem as my truck throw a bunch of codes related to the trailer. He recommended an old school direct wired controller(not going to do that)

I bit the bullet and bought the factory GM camera. I did the install today using the factory furion mount. Popped the hole behind the mount into the rear top bunk, then into the shower wall and fished up the length of the trailer. I coiled the excess wire up and secured in the underbelly. I will say the camera is crystal clear and I can’t wait to use it on my trip. I opted for the plan model camera that doesn’t have the invisible view. I highly recommend it.

Installed MotoFab 2” leaving kit in time 2018 Sierra 1500 crew cab a few weeks ago. Running stock rims with 265/65/18 tires and getting slight rub at full lock. I need new tires anyway and was thinking of 275/65/18. Would the bigger tires make the rub worse? Is there a decent fix for the rub besides new rims?
