    Hmm that's strange, don't think i've seen that on any car let alone a brand new one. Almost looks like someone was trying to push the truck and put their hands on the headlight. Shouldn't be a problem for warranty.

    Its dependent on the region you select, the farther west you go the more expensive it gets. Try an east coast state, i used PA because that's where i live.

    Starting on the EXTENDED CAB Tacoma is $21,500 after delivery fee vs $20,995 for the Colorado after delivery is hardly competitive. The reason why these trucks failed before was because you could by a comparatively trimmed full size for the same price or below, and the quality of the last gen colorado and canyons was a joke. They barely make good fleet vehicles. I want these trucks to succeed just like everyone else, but why buy $30,000 top of the line colorado, when you can get a $30,000 mid to high level trimmed silverado for the same. Its the same crap that ran GM into the ground before.

    We're talking about midsize trucks here. Not the tundra. Starting price on the Tacoma is $18,125. Starting on the Tundra is $26,200.

    LOL almost $38,000 for a Z71 crew cab canyon. What a joke, hate to see what the price on the mini duramax engine is going to be. Not anywhere even close to nissan and toyota.

    That GTO is an 04 ls1 by the look of it, your truck is an lq4 or lq9 depending on your options. He also has an x-pipe and long tube headers and i doubt he fit a 22" magnaflow like yours under that gto. He most likely used a smaller magnaflow muffler. If you do decide to delete the cats you will need to replace the downstream o2 with simulators, that's what the previous poster meant by you throwing codes. Try a smaller muffler.

    To me no cats sounds like shit, just don't. Try a smaller muffler or even a cutout before the muffler. I had a 22" magnaflow before my current set up and it was a little to quiet for me. Give gibson or mbrp a try.

    Best as in? If you're looking for great filtering ability, Amsoil and AFE make a great dry filter with outstanding filtering ability. If you're looking for air flow K&N or any other wet cotton gauze filter will suit you.

    This was a big topic in the F-body crowd. There is no rhyme or reason as to what plug coil came on what truck. Some got the MELCO(mitsubishi) coils and some got the Delphi coils. The MELCO coils are the square coils with the heatsink on top or whats in your first picture. The Delphi coils are the round coils with no heatsink or whats in your second picture. The only way to be sure about what coil the customer has is to have them confirm if the coil has a heatsink or not. The square MELCO coils with require the longer spark plug wires.

    Its supposed to do that. GM has been using variable charging alternators for awhile now. The needle will dip as low as 13.5 and as high as 15 or so. The gauge isn't very precise. The PCM will dial back the alternator when full amp production is not needed to save fuel such as a deceleration event or when not many accessories are on. It will increase amperage output when a high draw is seen such as when a lot of accessories are on etc. Your truck is A-ok and is working exactly how it is supposed to.
