    From what I've seen these 6L80E transmissions are quite proven. My dad's truck has 174k on his with no sign of letting up! That and this truck is also not gonna be rolling big tires and steep gears which I'm sure didn't help lol Sent while in 'Murica...

    Actually I'll probably get weathertech mats and an under seat organizer. Level kit is possible but not for certain. Intake and a nice exhaust will be in the future and quite possibly a BB tune. That's pretty much stock, right!? [emoji23] EDIT: clearly I don't have an auxiliary trans cooler cause Temps were around 195 in 50 degree weather.     Trashed the hell outta my transmission since they told me I had to pull it and send it in. On my way home got on it and it stuck in second till I let outta it. Trans temp increased about 40 degrees (about 130 above ambient). 5 mins. from home and I lose 3rd and 4th. Ran 2nd gear at 55 mph for the last five minutes of my journey, which was about 4300 rpms. Yelled many curse words, made up so new ones, the entire time it was stuck in second. So much for that "performance" transmission, right guys?? Sent while in 'Murica...

    Well I can't figure out how to upload a video via tapatalk but I got a video of it slipping. Trans temp was around 110 (approx. 90 degrees above ambient) and I also found out that it's not just second, but third is starting to slip as well.     Was towing with my "performance" transmission that I installed 12k miles or so ago and found out 2nd gear is slipping. How does a trans rated for double the trucks hp go out so soon? Yes I run 35's but I also have 4.88's so that relieves some pressure on it Pulled code P1870. Sounds like a valve body issue. Not too bad but still puts me in a bad mood Sent while in 'Murica...
