  2. What is the 3000 watt rated for, everything!? I was looking at a Cobra 2500 watt continuous from wally world lol Sent while in 'Murica...
  3. If alternator goes out again I'll get a bigger one. The inverter like I said is for running a radio while tailgating or someone charging a phone every once in a while. If need be I will get a bigger one. It's currently a 410 watt converter and it had 10 gauge wire when it was the alligator clips. That's what I ran back there from the battery so about 10 feet or so maybe more. Think that was too small of a gauge wire? Sent while in 'Murica...
  4. Oh I gotcha. It's not often they are back there but when I got 5 people in the truck chances are half of them need to plug their phone in. Plus I will use it to charge my drills for work Sent while in 'Murica...
  5. It's for those pesky friends that always need their phone plugged in lol. I've had this inverter about 6 months and I've used it at the races and concerts to run a radio and it works great. 410 watts ain't much so I can't run anything big but for right now it will work. If need be I will upgrade to a bigger one in the future. I like how small this one is too. Fits right on the side of the box Sent while in 'Murica...
  6. Just installed a power converter in my truck. Attached it to my sub box. Should help with my friends that have iphones always needing to be charged lol Has two house plugs as well as a USB port [emoji106] Sent while in 'Murica...
  7. To seal the leak Daryl lol Sent while in 'Murica...
  8. You know Zach, kids are gonna interfere with truck mods [emoji23] Congratulations buddy!! Sent while in 'Murica...
  9. Here's my 05 Prairie 360 and my 7 month old baby Outlander 1000XT Sent while in 'Murica...
  10. I'm going to assume just regular rubber bushings if they came pre-installed in the leaf springs Sent while in 'Murica...
  11. Do you have the regular rubber bushings or polyurethane bushings? The polyurethane ones have a special grease to prevent them from squeaking. Found that out the hard way, had to uninstall the springs and press the bushings back out to put the grease in there. No more squeak now! Sent while in 'Murica...
  12. I've had my auto zone Duralast gold battery coming up on 4 years now in December. Still strong! Sent while in 'Murica...
  13. Mine has been a yard ornament for the past couple days. Can't figure out why it's still leaking tcase fluid. Replaced the seal. Didn't do anything. Replaced the yoke, didn't do anything. Now I'm replacing the tcase today. Not sure if the pump rub on the case can cause it to leak out almost both quarts of fluid. Not sure but if this don't work then I have no idea what's going on Sent while in 'Murica...
  14. That's towing Sarah. Hauling is in the bed. Figure I would specify and get all technical lol Sent while in 'Murica...
  15. Put 270 miles on the ol' girl yesterday. When i got home i looked underneath and it was leaking some auto trak fluid from the rear output shaft seal. It had ran down the driveshaft and slung it everywhere. And when i say everywhere i mean all over the rear end, shocks, leaf springs, body, and all the way back to the hitch. Not sure how that happened Sent while in 'Murica...
  16. Reverse switch is on the drivers side of the transmission. I should know, I've replaced my tranny how many times now?? Lol. It has two pigtails that run to it, where the reverse light wiring goes from there though, I don't have a clue Sent while in 'Murica...
  17. Haha no me. That's some of the info they give you when your looking at the EBC brake pads. Ceramic is the way to go though. I put these on about 3k miles ago and hardly any dust on the wheels. Makes cleaning the truck that much easier Sent while in 'Murica...
  18. Semi metallic is suppose to give you better braking power and resists brake fade longer than ceramic. Read it online lol Sent while in 'Murica...
  19. Shaft came out good! Figured out my ujoint was not the proper size so replaced it today with a Spicer u joint. Not sure how I didn't catch this when I installed it Sent while in 'Murica...
  20. Working on polishing my driveshaft. Just finished up replacing both ujoints Big difference once it's polished. Should look amazing rolling down the highway tomorrow headed towards the race! Sent while in 'Murica...
  21. I had the EBC green stuff pads all they way around and the dust was rediculous. I went back to Wagner thermoquiet pads when I changed them a couple months ago. Far less dust and yet the stopping power is about the same. Plus they are available locally and just as expensive. Should last longer too Sent while in 'Murica...
  22. I installed it correctly. Followed the instructions in the box. Still drives fine and it doesn't have play in the joint but when I hit speeds of 70+ I get a loud, fast clunk like sound that is continuous. It may not be coming from the joint but it does need to be eliminated. Going to dealer after work to pick up Spicer ujoint. Right now you can actually move the shaft left of right because there is also the tcase slap so I'm guessing the shaft speed is just throwing it around down there. Seems like something dangerous could come from it Sent while in 'Murica...
  23. Depends on how much I use it for work. If i also put the miles on this truck like I do at work on those vans it would be over 400k Sent while in 'Murica...
  24. Chevy; it will roundhouse kick a Ford right in the f***ing mouth Rotated tires today and also figured out my ujoint that I just replaced is loose. The cross wiggles back and forth between the caps. Guess I was right and should have just bought a Spicer u joint to begin with. Duralast ujoints no more for me! Sent while in 'Murica...
  25. I do bout 20k a year. Maybe more Sent while in 'Murica...
