  1. From looking at it, it looks like it would be pretty strong cause the main portion of the bumper is a 4" pipe. The diamond plate I'm sure is only but so thick. The Apache series is suppose to be one of the lightest bumpers in heavy duty bumpers. Still a hell of a lot stronger than the stock bumper i would think Sent while cruising down a back road...
  2. Sample pic Chris. But Tough Country is the only manufacturer that I have talked to in the past that will do the body lift modification on the brackets. No other company will do it. I believe that Frontier Gear has a nice bull nose bumper for half the cost but no body mod I did out up a thread a couple years back about which bumper to get but now that I have a body lift it kind of limits me to what I can get unless I use the body lift brackets. Which then there goes all the strength Sent while cruising down a back road...
  3. Found a bumper i want. Need $1580. Taking donations starting now lol Sent while cruising down a back road...

  5. I think truck won. the deer was split in half; dead on impact. between dead deer or $150 in parts, I kicked its ass lol Sent while cruising down a back road...
  6. I know I want one I just can't seem to save up for one cause everything else breaks! hahaha Sent while cruising down a back road...
  7. I smacked a deer this morning. Split it in half with stomach contents and intestines in the middle of the road. As for my truck? Just a broken lower valence and fog light. Lifted truck saved me from calling insurance Sent while cruising down a back road...
  8. See, Ryan is starting to get the hang of the hash tag thing now!! Lol Sent while cruising down a back road...
  9. #atleasticanlookinmywheelsandseeifigotshitinmyteef lol Sent while cruising down a back road...
  10. would have to be a really good deal. that's ALOT of wheel right there. It would probably rub somewhere haha Sent while cruising down a back road...
  11. I would go as big as 22's probably if I got them for a really good deal Sent while cruising down a back road...
  12. I'll go with 30's #dopeashell Sent while cruising down a back road...
  13. Machined look gets dull looking too fast if it's not clear coated. My first aftermarket set of wheels were Mickey Thompson Classic 2 and they were polished aluminum. Looked awesome as hell nice and polished up but they weren't clear coated so the shine disappeared in a couple weeks Sent while cruising down a back road...
  14. The ones I really wanted were discontinued. And trust me compared to most wheels these are the only decent looking ones. All the other ones have ugly designs or too "busy" for me if you know what I mean. I like a simple design cause those always look the best IMO Sent while cruising down a back road...
  15. I got 30k on my Dick Cepek FC2's and they still have half tread, but I'm thinking they are cupped causing my braking issues I've been having lately. Was looking at these, but the bolt pattern is a dual pattern (6x5.5 + 6x135) which I guess is good for resale purposes Sent while cruising down a back road...
  16. 22's are too much I was going to do 20's. still has a good bit of sidewall and I like the look just not sure if I want to drop that kind of dough on another set of wheels and tires. this would be the 3rd set in 4 years haha I'll probably end up getting 37's for the current 17's. My choice of tire would be Toyo OPEN country M/T either way. great reviews everywhere I look Sent while cruising down a back road...
  17. Starting to look at new tires for the truck. Not sure if I should just get 37's for my current 17's or spend about another 2k for 20" wheels and 37's. Not sure how much more money should go into the truck but I don't wanna make the wrong decision on tires. This next set will probably make it a weekender/ hunting truck so maybe I should just keep my current 17's and save some money. Decisions, decisions... Sent while cruising down a back road...
  18. That's awesome. and your only like 27 or 28 ain't you? that is damn impressive Sent while cruising down a back road...
  19. I'm bout to go pick up a suit for my cousins wedding tomorrow if that counts #heavyhauler Sent while cruising down a back road...
  20. I'm lucky if I break 300. most I've gotten on these gears is 350 on a tank. I had half a gallon left [emoji17] Sent while cruising down a back road...
  21. Got new tow mirrors in today and spent the evening leveling them out and trying to get the cover back on (did a bunch of work with a dremel). The screws are bigger than the last tow mirrors so naturally the washers are thicker. Got everything on there (used same amount of washers as before) and now they point towards the ground. Too much work for mirrors!!! I would rather swap in a new rear end than have to disassemble/ reassemble these mirror 5 times lol Sent while cruising down a back road...
  22. Towed the boat down to the river yesterday and just went out with a couple friends. Got out real late so didn't have much time but still fun!! Sent while cruising down a back road...
  23. I kept getting codes for all my o2 sensors. Replaced them all with Denso and none have come back. Don't buy Bosch!! They make good tools but that's where it stops. I was also having problems with their spark plugs Sent while cruising down a back road...
  24. I was also thinking that but they seem to be well greased and slide easily. Bossman told me to put new calipers on so we don't have to take it off the road again. Comes with new slide pins as well, and the calipers are relatively cheap $30 a side Sent while cruising down a back road...
  25. That's hilarious. Hope he was just being stupid and joking Sent while cruising down a back road...
