  1. Or Lowes home depot or any other improvement store Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  2. Trust me Sarah I don't think your paint is as bad as mine. It got so bad on the passenger side that I cut down straight to paint and shot it with rustoleum gloss and it actually blended well. But cause it was humid that paint is bubbling too lol Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  3. Chris, didn't you say you were looking at doing a hybrid axle swap in your truck? I finally found the RPO code and it's AXN. I need one now, so let me you if you find one for me lol Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  4. 2 small bolts for 2wd trucks. 4wd trucks have just one big bolt on the bottom and the stud in the top. And just jack the truck up, put jack stands on the frame, and let the front suspension droop. If need be, put the jack under the control arm (under the ball joint) to push it up so you can tighten the top stud nut
  5. Oh yeah update on my truck. Took it by the shop to see if they could weld those cracks. Well he pointed something out to me that made my pocket shrink. I guess my impact is too powerful cause I actually bent the tube and bent the spring perch from over tightening the u bolts. Got online when I got home and found a 14 bolt about 4 hours away http://westmd.craigslist.org/pts/4453827847.html Getting torn down and rebuilt anyways so I don't care if it doesn't even work. As long as it isn't bent and rotted out Edit: damn he sold it. This is a hard one to find Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  6. That g8 is actually up for 18900. Bet I could have them knock some off if I really wanted it. That dealer over prices everything anyways Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  7. I did find a Pontiac g8 GT 3 miles from work for 20k. Has 6 speed automatic and I think 67k miles. Of course it's black so that's a plus Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  8. True. But I would still want a full size lol Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  9. You know more than I do haha I've never looked at em online Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  10. Knowing GM they will price them the same as a full size. Not worth it buying a small truck better to buy a full size. Plus I'm a big guy so I prefer a full size Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  11. Yeah fronts are easy. Pulled a shock and put it back in the other night in 10 min. Maybe that's cause this truck is always getting torn down?? Lol Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  12. That's what I was thinking. I'll ask the guy at the shop when they replace the pinion seal and pull the cover to see what's making the noise back there Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  13. I may have over torqued the u bolts causing what you're taking about. Hopefully it won't cost much to fix cause that tranny drained my account Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  14. Better come get it before I torch it. I dont even see how that happens. Gonna see if the shop can do anything about it. Did see a lifted Taco that looked pretty nice. Ehhh I want full sized. Can't afford full sized. Damn... Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  15. Assuming rear main oil seal. Replaced oil pan gasket when I put motor in Saw this and felt my wallet get smaller Saw that and basically just gave up walked inside grabbed a beer and posted this. Done with this damn thing. Time for a new truck. Looking as I speak... Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  16. Well turns out my new shocks are about an inch short mount point to mount point. I also plan on cranking down an inch so that would make it equal plus get a two inch shock extension so I have more travel. I think that's why my ride was so bad cause my current shocks were basically maxed out so didn't have any down travel Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  17. Alright cool. I'm going to pull one of my front shocks hopefully today and get some measurements between the two and see how tall of a bracket I need cause I may need to fab them up, not sure if 2 inch extension is enough. I'll have my buddy do it cause he works at a metal fabrication shop and could have it done and welded in like 20 min. Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  18. Anyone have shock extensions on a 99-06 1500 4wd? My new shocks are not long enough and want to keep them just can't find shock extensions Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  19. Replaced all my o2 sensors from Bosch to denso. Solved the trouble codes I get every time I drive the truck. I will also be getting my bilstein 5160 shocks for the front tomorrow. Hopefully next weekend I can install them and crank down a bit to make it ride better. My uncle rode with me and he said my truck rides night and day compared to his Excursion. Funny cause I think it rides like crap Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  20. I still only run 5k on my m1 EP Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  21. Pulling a transmission in my shop (aka driveway) on my uncles grand caravan. What a pain in the @$$. I'm tired of working on it and only got 3 hours sleep so that doesn't help Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  22. I would do a single cab short bed 2wd and drop it 2/4 or 4/6 and drop in an lq9 built with either a blower or twin turbos. Too much??? Obviously a 14 bolt and 80e swap would have to be done as well Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  23. My buddy had 2 bagged s10's. They were both junk and stupid as hell. Then again he didn't pay for it granddaddy did Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
  24. Slam is 4/6 I believe Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
