    Well I repainted the rocker panel since I found out the other week that both are completely shot so figured id let it ride till I can save up for some body work/ paint job. Also went in search of the PS fluid leak I've been having for the past several months and it looks like the seal where the steering shaft goes on the gear box is leaking. Guess that needs to be added to the never ending to do list Also am looking at painting the frame this weekend Sent while drinkin' a cold one...

    Bought some of this on Amazon: So I could flush my lines waiting on my new tranny. The fluid that came out looked like this: Yes that tranny fluid that is suppose to be red is brown or black, can't decide which. I checked it a week before it went out and it looked like brand new fluid. Not sure what caused it to get so dirty. Still smells fine though Sent while drinkin' a cold one...

    Yeah your right. All of the crew cab gmt800's I've seen are 05- early 07. May have never seen an 04 crew cab for sale Sent while drinkin' a cold one...

    What's so special about the 04 crew cabs compared to an 03 or 05- early 07 crew cab? Same body style but in 06 they changed the grille Sent while drinkin' a cold one...

    I never thought it would take me all day to figure out a damn fuel filter on that 02 tacoma. Had to torque it down with a pair of vise grips cause the line wrench kept slipping. Japanese design fail I guess Sent while drinkin' a cold one...

    Did rear diff fluid, transfer case fluid, M/T fluid and fuel filter on my friends 02 Tacoma. Glad I own a full size. Everything is next to each other under those things Gotta finish up with a plug and wire change and front diff fluid change today Sent while drinkin' a cold one...

    If it keeps downshifting from 4th then keep it in 3rd. The constant gear change and heavier tires kill these 60e's, that's the best way to extend the life of it IMO Sent while drinkin' a cold one...

    Been contemplating on doing roll on bed liner from the rockers up the piece of tape halfway up the door, temporarily until I save enough to get a paint job and body work done. Thoughts? Or should I just keep it as is until I'm ready for body work and paint job? Have to redo rockers while steps are off. Didn't do a very good job on em last year Sent while drinkin' a cold one...

    You save $30 cause it takes longer, at least that's what it sounds like. Hopefully they are trained to do the job properly, and pray it wont leak after their done lol

    Not sure how to turn off the setting for the beep. Don't really mess around with it except for washing clothes haha. And most of the time I hear it while laying in bed trying to fall asleep lol

    Yeah totally agree. We've had ours for 5 years now and not a single problem. I live in the basement a room over from them and can't stand the constant beep when your clothes are done Sent while drinkin' a cold one...
