So for the Silverado high beams, do I need the error eliminators or not? Also, do yall recommend a wiring harness for both the high and low beams? Also, I noticed a lot of guys are having trouble with the HID's in the fog lamps. But I also see this is for the round Sierra fog lamps and not the rectangular Silverado fog lamps. Has anyone had trouble with the HID's in the Silverado fogs with it discoloring or melting? Thanks in advance

That's next on my simple mod list. I may get rid of the rear bowtie emblem and debadge most of the truck but I'm definitely going to plasti dip the front emblem sometime this week Sent while in 'Murica...

There were already hard water spots on the rear glass, but none on the side glass or windshield, so I took some of this stuff to the back glass to clean it up Then I applied rain-x to all the glass. Couldn't see crap last night while driving in the rain. Hopefully this makes it much easier to see like in my 02. HID's will be a Christmas gift and should definitely help with seeing in the rain Sent while in 'Murica...

Can't believe I've put it off so long and it took 5 min. Get me a set of 9005 5000k HID'S to put in and I'm sure it will really light up the night Sent while in 'Murica...

Took me 10 minutes with a 10mm ratchet wrench (flex head) and a flat head to pop out the 4 retaining push pins (2 per side). There are a bunch of 10mm bolts under there. I believe I'd counted around 15 or so. I think if you could mount the led bar in the bumper somehow that would be awesome Sent while in 'Murica...

Nice. I'm looking at the Top Gun customz level kit, no rear blocks with stock wheels and tires for right now until I need new tires. Then I either want the sierra all terrain wheels with bigger tires or just keep these stock wheels and put bigger tires on them. I have the same wheel on my 02 except in black. Same offset as well I did take off the lower air dam yesterday and it makes a big difference Sent while in 'Murica...

I like the high country emblems on the doors. I think I'll take off the door trim, 4x4 emblems, and debadge the tailgate except for the high country emblem. I like them there [emoji106] Sent while in 'Murica...

What kind of lift and size tire you got under that thing? Sent while in 'Murica...

I truly want a lift kit deep down, but even deeper down I remember all the problems I had with my other truck and it makes me steer away lol but they look soooo good lifted. Probably just a level with 33's and replica sierra all terrain wheels and I'll be satisfied. Do a slight debadge and some other stuff Saw something in another thread with footwell led lights. He had them wired to the usb port so they are always on while driving. I plan on wiring mine to the dome light so they come on with them Sent while in 'Murica...

Removed the air dam just now. Makes a world of difference. Sorry forgot to take a before pic Still want to lift the nose up so looking into level kits as we speak. Measurements that I took yesterday when it was getting dark were 39" rear and then 36.5" front Sent while in 'Murica...

Really like those footwell LED's that you installed. I plan on installing some as well except I will have them wired to the dome light, can't be that hard right? Only makes sense. Might as well do your pitman and idler arms if not done, and I highly recommend the cogntio steering support kit. Really helped tighten up my steering. Now I know I had 35's and it tightened it up, I bet it would be nice on a stock truck Sent while in 'Murica...

Well, figured what better time to start a build thread than on a new truck since I never did do one on my 02. Anyways, bought the truck November 29, 2014 and as of right now, a few days later, its still stock go figure lol Here is what I plan on doing in the future, some sooner than later: Weathertech mats front and rear K&N or some other CAI- open for other recommendations 6000K HID's for lows, highs, and fogs 2 inch level kit; if I go with a taller rear block, I will also do a u bolt flip kit, much cleaner looking Slightly bigger tires when new tires are needed Possibly either the chrome or matte gray Sierra All Terrain 20" wheels or possible aftermarkets if I cant find em for a good price on craigslist Remove air dam on front bumper so I can clear curbs lol RANGE AFM disabler Possibly a Blackbear tune Possibly a MAG-HYTEC diff cover Auxiliary transmission cooler- I don't see one in front of the radiator, but gonna check again and to top it all off, possibly some 3.73 gears for some more umph off the line, but im sure that is years down the road, along with the blackbear tune EDIT: Didn't realize I didn't include exhaust plans. I either want to just keep the stock piping and get a new muffler, or get a dual out muffler and have the exhaust shop install a pipe that mirrors the passenger side. I like where they have it coming out, right before the bumper. I would also purchase another bowtie exhaust tip cause I like how they look and the size of it compared to the Flowmaster ones on my other truck Some pics of it stock and fresh off the lot
