  1. Don't stick a drunk person in the center seat and behind the driver seat. That could end badly lol
  2. Maybe it was the environment they were built in that caused the issue. If at all possible, pull the headlights completely and let them air dry inside your house for 24 hours. I also hit them with a blow dryer so the hot air could help evaporate it. So far no issues but if that doesn't solve your issue then I would recommend taking it back to the dealer and let them know what you did and if they are cool they will just replace them no questions asked. The dealer I go to (but didn't buy my truck from them) asked me a few questions and then just said bring it in if it happens again and did we'll replace them. It was about a 30 sec. conversation lol
  3. I had 3 ballasts go bad in 3 weeks and a high beam bulb tab break. They use to have better quality. I've had their kits in my 02 for 2 years with not a single issue. These new kits suck ass. Pardon my language. In the process of getting authorization to return them
  4. Pulled the headlamps, sat inside for about 15 min. each headlamp and then left them inside for 24 hours to evaporate all the condensation. I then went back to the stock halogens on everything (ddm quality sucked ass). No issues yet. I do have slight condensation in my fogs though
  5. Yeah I've never seen the Sierra's headlights that bad. My silverado high beam passenger side fogged up but I believe it was a bad seal from the aftermarket HID'S
  6. I've had mine coming up on 2 months 4k miles. Didn't drive it too much the first month (my mom had it because vehicles breaking down and my sister came into town and what not). Did the first oil change at 800 miles and I plan on doing it every 6k just so it's in line with rotating tires. Run those tires too long and they get too noisy for my liking (for nice street tires that is). This weekend I may install my level kit. Not sure if I should install rear blocks as well or just the 2" front spacers
  7. Please do some searching before posting. It is a wide spread issue. If it doesn't go away then take it back to the dealer
  8. Where did you mount the power block? And from the look of it, I'm assuming it's rated for marine use (meant for a boat)?
  9. Cleaned her up this morning. Got all the road salt off of it from the past two weeks
  10. I've had it happen to me once before. Let the truck sit for 10 minutes and it was back to normal. In my case I could use the buttons and the touch screen, but nothing would show. Weirdest thing. I also didn't want to take it to the dealer for them to tell me there's nothing wrong Sent while in 'Murica...
  11. I was paying attention. His truck came to a complete stop. It was a regular cab long bed gmt800 so yeah my CC short bed is a bit heavier lol. Honestly if it wasn't for my collision alert I would have ran into him. I was kind of dazed because I was tired Sent while in 'Murica...
  12. I've thought about it. Which one do you have again? Sent while in 'Murica...
  13. Had to put the 14 in a ditch after some guy decides to stand on his brakes. It was slick out and my truck slid, his didnt. Made a last minute maneuver into the ditch, which luckily wasn't deep or really muddy. Just gave it some gas and kept going. She pulled out in 2wd. Got home and only damage is mud on the tires. Thank goodness! Sent while in 'Murica...
  14. Threw a code with less than 3k miles on the truck. P0700. Something to do with the transmission. Started shifting hard on my way home out of 1st and out of 2nd or 3rd. I have the worse luck with trannys Sent while in 'Murica...
  15. Went on an overnight camping trip in single digit weather with some buddies of mine. It was pretty cool considering we had each type of domestic truck (Ford, GM, Dodge). Took a couple pics Sent while in 'Murica...
  16. Got her loaded up to go on an overnight camping trip with some buddies. Below freezing ain't nothing to worry about [emoji108] Sent while in 'Murica...
  17. I like that. I'm going to look into them [emoji106] Sent while in 'Murica...
  18. It's only $200 for the dealership to uprade the system? That ain't bad Sent while in 'Murica...
  19. I test drove a truck with the built in navigation and it was nice. It actually showed the current weather status (rain, snow, sunny, etc) in the clouds above the vehicle. But for the price tag of that truck to mine, Google maps works fine. As for a GPS mount, I can't use it anymore cause my phone is too heavy but I use to use the one you would see on TV with the sticky green pad. Actually works great for a smaller phone. Now that I have a note 3 with a massive extended battery it damn near rips the thing off the window haha Sent while in 'Murica...
  20. I agree. On a stock 1500 they look sorta funny, which is why I'll wait to get some until I at least level the truck and put 33's and maybe some offset wheels under it. I think the offset wheels will help counter the look of how far the mirrors stick out Sent while in 'Murica...
  21. I can check to see if the holes line up tonight Sent while in 'Murica...
  22. I know what you're saying. We don't have it as bad as y'all up north, but it's 8 degrees outside right now with wind chill of 0. I live in VA, I'm not used to this weather. Can't wait for summer to come back Sent while in 'Murica...
  23. Did you measure the spacer when you got it? I ordered a level kit through Top Gun Customz and it's supposed to be 2" level kit but the block is 1". Customer service said that due to the geometry of the ifs suspension, the 1" block will provide 2" of lift. Doesnt sound right but maybe the coils get stiffer and lift it the extra inch Sent while in 'Murica...
  24. RIP [emoji17] Sent while in 'Murica...
  25. Yeah they all do that. I'm not too worried about it. I've had nothing but great luck with weathertechs in my other truck. I'll tell my buddy to order some huskys for his ram 1500 so I can compare Sent while in 'Murica...
